Wash -1.5 - Really was hoping to catch a good line with the skins this week as I had my eye on this game last week. I know Philly hasn't done anything to justify being a road fav but thought they may still have been coming into this game based on public perception. I still feel this line is looking for Philly money with them being in a must win and currently in a pick the winner situation. Redskins have the ability to control the clock with their running game against Philly's poor/banged up run d and they also have been solid stopping the run on the other side. have a strong lean on the under right now and will be on the skins if the line holds come Sunday

Jets -7 - must win game for the jets at home off a loss to the pats where the final score wasn't really indicative of the game.. Yet Jets are only a 7 point fav against a poor Miami offensive who is now starting Matt Moore? Really like to hear thoughts on this game as I had it pegged as jets -9.....Moore can't be any worse than Henne and may even be a slight upgrade. Dolphins also off a bye against an underachieving nyj d. Jets in a must win and do seem to show up in big games but yet I am leaning phins at the moment....someone please help me justify/talk me off this one.....

Pats/Cowboys o55 - I can't see how anyone could ever play a NE under with the way they always seem to have there pedal to the floor and with their terrible secondary. Boys off a bye with a healthy miles and dez....dal may be on the card as well

TB+4.5 - divisional game at home off a blowout road loss and now without your starting back....this one just falls into more than one of my followed trends and will be a play

To me, it's looking a little too easy to take the Pats -6.5, no?

I mean why not -7.5 or even 8.

I'm not sure daws...I think the line is about right when opening around 7. Patriots have no pass rush and giving Romo time is not a good thing at all imo especially with NE terrible secondary. Romo has taken a ton of heat for blowing up in games especially in pressure situations (and justifiably so) but other than the final few minutes of a few games he hasn't played bad at all. I'm a NE homer and have no idea how the pats are going to be able to contain Austin, dez, and Witten. Bellickeck I'm sure will find a way to take one of then out of the game but I have zero confidence in the pats ability to contain all three never mind limit the running game. I think this is the best offense the pats have faced thus far and that does not bode well for them imo based on recent results. I am considering a small ML play on the boys. I think the over is the better play as both line/total lead me to believe there won't be many field goals attempted in this one

Been lurking here since last season but never posted any picks. Does anyone else think that Carolina+3.5 is worth a sniff? Atlanta has shown very, very little this year. The offensive line is horrid, they can't figure out if they want to run or pass the ball, and their defense is nowhere near impressive. Atl is putting up 21 and giving up 26 for the year. I know Atl is at home and Matt Ryan has been money at home, but I'm just not buying Atl this year, at least not now. Cam Newton is looking like a veteran and has a decent running game to go with his arm. Carolina allows a ton of points but they can keep up the pace and I believe they have covered each game this year, maybe with the exception of Arizona week 1.

I agree, though the Boys ML could be a stretch. I just don't see the Patriots losing this one at home, unless it isn't a shootout and the Boys D plays out of their minds.

I can't play the Bills under with Merriman out as well, just too many injuries on both defenses. I will wait and see what happens, possible 2ndh play.

Anyone else think the Panthers get blown out? They can't stop the run, and the Falcons are of a home loss. I know backing Cam has been profitable, but I think this line is crazy. Had the Falcons won last week this line would be 7.5+. I can't see the Panthers stopping the run today, and Julio out could be a blessing in disguise- run Turner run!

Already played Falcons tt o26.5, thinking of laying points as well

I'm laying the pts with the Falcons, and I'd like to hear your insight on why losing Merriman is a bad thing for the under if you get a chance? He's done very little, really, and I was leaning towards the Giants and the under there too.

It's just a depth thing to me. Moats should do fine playing in his spot, but with Kelsay out as well the already inimpressive LB core is thinned out. Batten will be seeing a ton of time out there. I expect NYG to pound the run, and if the LBs get tired down the stretch there could be late scoring.

Leaning hard on Eagles over, hoping it drops another half- Philly D is poop and I think both teams get to 23. If the Eagles win (I couldn't bet it) thet are likely going to have to put up 28+

I like Philly/over as well, and I see your point....but NYG pounding the ball is the main reason I liked the under in the first place. I expect the Bills to try to do the same with Fred, at least as long as they haven't fallen behind by too much.

In order to beat the Giants this week, I think the Bills will have to continue to force turnovers, and I just don't see Coughlin allowing turnover machine Eli to drop back and let that happen.

50 is a lot of points for 2 teams who don't exactly have dynamic passing offenses, imho.

As far as Philly/over, I think Washington has overachieved so far this year, and this is an absolute must win for Philly. Seems a lot of people are finally jumping off the Philly wagon now, might be time to grab a spot on them this week. Washington's QB is still Rex GROSSman....

Seems as if the entire world is hitting the Giants. I think it will be tough for the Giants to generate pressure on Fitz (or any qb so long as Tuck is out of games). Honestly I see no reason why the Bills won't win the turnover battle today, but that's just me. Eli could have a whale of a game, but I think this is a tight one. I'll probably play Bills ML small, IMO +170 is pretty good value vs the Giants who are capable of giving the game away at any point

One thing I read is that Philly may be scrapping the wide 9 defense? Anyone confirm this? I can't imagine it would be a smooth transition if they do... they still have lb issues.
