Very late post again. Won't count any of these towards the record. I didn't like any of them enough to make the trip to put it in today, but just writing em down for tracking purposes.
Carolina +10.5 at Kansas City. For this I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Bridgewater again, who has been solid ATS for his career. I like the way this team battles, and getting double digits vs. the best team in the league is about right to me.
Dallas +14.5 at Pittsburgh. I guess we're on the 4th string QB now? I dunno, I like betting the backups and it's a possible letdown spot after that big win against Baltimore last week. Big Ben said the Baltimore game is always grueling and makes you want a bye week after. Too bad ya gotta play.
Baltimore -1 at Indy. Normally I take Indy on the short line against a good team. But Baltimore owes me from last week so I'd take em here in a pickem. This would be a Baltimore -7 line at home, and I think that's a tad bit too high for teams with similar records.
Atlanta -4.5 vs. Denver. Big comeback win last week for Denver. But they're just one of those teams where they look good one week and crap the bed the next. Hoping they lose here so I can take em next week.
Minnesota -4 vs. Detroit. Line too high here. Detroit with the better record and arguably the better team, catching more than 3. I guess the line has moved in this one, but Minnesota was giving more than the hook where they should be no more than a 3 pt favorite and probably less.
Patriots -7 at NY Jets. New England got their cover last week. Still got nothin on offense, but the Patriots defense should be enough in this one.
I'll update these with my reasoning later on. It's 1:20 right now, so the edit timestamp will be later.
