Bet Against The Team That Scored The Most

I forgot who started this here years ago but it was an NFL playoff trend here.
Didn't see any mention of it this year.

After the first round it was to bet against Seattle in round 2.
If you got under 11 then it was a win.

This week you are supposed to bet against Green Bay.

I remember it having a really good track record.
Did we stop doing this for some reason?

It ALWAYS seems to do good....all the way through the SuperBowl

I don't always follow it 100% like I used to....but I will be more likely to play against Green Bay this week becuase of this at the same time.....

I think I am going to ride it out this year and see how it does.

+3.5 is already available at SIA, so I'm guessing other places will follow.

The #2 seed getting points at all, let alone over a fg against the #6 seed when hosting them in the conference championship game looks odd...

I think both of these games this weekend are going to be great ones, and I don't think there's a possible superbowl match up out of the 4 teams left that would be disappointing on paper :thumbs:

Well they beat them once this year and gave them all they can handle in a game they didn't need and the packers did. So I'm going with yes

Yeah but the Bears were trying to knock them out to avoid this very situation.... they didn't want to face the Packers in the playoffs. I think they kinda took GB by surprise in week 17. GB was expecting Chicago to mail it in... and they didn't.

This game will be a lot like the Ravens-Steelers. A close, hard fought battle.

I think the team with the better QB and least turnovers will win.

Im expecting something like 20-14 Packers. Rodgers didn't play well last time... however this time around I think there will be a little more action on offense.

I think the Bears can win this game outright. I am going to par the SU with the under. Pays about 4-1.

I am also going with the Bears +3.5 as a straddle.

I just don't see GB blowing them out. Beating Chicago by 4 or more on the road is an upset in my opinion...

Wildcard Round: NE had high score w/ 37 pts - covered against SD the following week. System Loss
Divisional Round: NO and Chi both had high score w/ 27 pts - no play the following week as they played each other.
Conference Round: Chicago had high score w/ 39 pts - did not cover against Indy in the SB. System Win

07-08 Postseason
Wildcard Round: Seattle had high score w/ 35 pts - did not cover against GB the following week. System Win.
Divisional Round: GB had high score w/ 42 pts - did not cover against the NYG the following week. System Win.
Conference Round: NYG had high score w/ 23 pts - covered against NE in the SB. System Loss.

08-09 Postseason
Wildcard Round: Arizona had high score w/ 30 pts - covered the following week against Carolina. System Loss.
Divisional Round: Pitt had high score w/ 35 pts - covered the following week against Baltimore. System Loss.
Conference Round: Arizona had high score w/ 32 pts - covered against Pitt in the SB. System Loss.

09-10 Postseason
Wildcard Round: Arizona had high score w/ 51 pts - did not cover against NO the following week. System Win.
Divisional Round: NO had high score w/ 45 pts - did not cover against Minn the following week. System Win.
Conference Round: NO had high score w/ 31 pts - covered against Indy in the SB. System Loss.

10-11 Postseason
Wildcard Round: Seattle had high score w/ 41 pts - did not cover against Chicago. System Win.

Overall Record: 6-6

Obviously this is a small sample size of the results, but thought I would give some actual numbers because I remember the system being posted a few years back as well. Regardless of the trend GL on your play :thumbs:

Just like every system they need some tweeking! :)
Played Chicago the first week and second week! 1-1!
Going to go with GB for the SB! Put down 2 units -3 even and going to put down 1 unit GB -1.5 -115 Via lang a tang a fade 1st half!

Also noticed the sharp money on the under early! Going to play the over seems every year around this time all the talk is the sharp money... I alway get sucked in on them! 1 unit -105 over 23 1st half and 2 units over 45 -110

I placed 1 on Pittsburgh +3.

I also placed 1 on the Over 45.

Winnings (if any) are going to go towards the money I am already placing on Nonito Donaire later this month. Actually, that's how I played the Bradley fight as well. Donaire for the win!
