    NFL is a Joke

I used to make fun of the NBA getting teams in the playoffs with losing records.

The fact that Seattle who lost 7 of 10 and has 7 wins is hosting a first round playoff shows how bad this league has become. Most games are unwatchable.

I'm on the Saints as long as they are -13.5 or less.
Just look on the bright side of things...

The NFL is a joke IMO because of the officiating. I saw an "illegal blindside block" called yesterday. WTF? Do you have to tell a guy you're gonna block him before doing so now?

The officiating in the college bowls has been pretty bad too.

But you're right, I just think it's funny how 2 teams with losing records were battling it out to host a playoff game last night and they chose it to be on tv.

Unfortunately they can't just change the rule midseason though just because 4 of the worst 5 or 6 teams in the league are lumped together in the same division

completely agree BB. lost a lot of interest in the nfl last year with how bad some teams were and how great others were. This year it just wasn't fun to watch most of the time outside of my favorite team the eagles. It's just not right. something needs to be done about the arbitrary calls the refs make too. too much inconsistency.

Ya complete horse **** for a 7-9 team to make the playoffs. There needs to be a by rule that if a sub .500 wins the Division then the highest seeded WC team should snag the 4th spot and the next 2 best records are the WC spots.

            7-9 LMFAO! LAME!

lol also unfortunately that's what they did with those "hits" and fines levied against Harrison. Just thought it was interesting they decided all of a sudden to bring the hammer so to speak on certain hits midseason, and immediately penalize players not for future hits, but ones in past games.

that and I am really tired of these games lasting as long as baseball games. It's ridiculous. TV timeouts for every little thing, every change of possession, etc...

Commercial after a score. commercial after a PAT. Commercial after the kickoff. commercial after a turnover. Commercial before 2 minute warning. Commercial after 2 minute warning.

              NFL :puke:

They are so arrogant and think their brand/sport is invincible but then again wasn't baseball truly America's past time a long time ago? Nothing stays no. 1 forever, especially with the way things are run to sour against the fans. Then again it may just be me, maybe the "young people" like the way football is today. But NOBODY likes constant interruption or commercials!

I like to see good tackles, sacks, etc. without ripping a guys head off. I never understood that.

There are so many bad teams, it is unbelievable.

Kansas City is another garbage team in the playoffs. They beat one team with a winning record...ONE. And in that game, vs SD in the opener they were outgained 400 to 200.

How do you win 10 games and only beat one team with a winning record? 9-7 SD. Handicapped scheduling gives us crappy first round games.

Don't forget about the trash buccaneers who won 9 games , but not one of the teams they beat had a winning record besides NO but that one doesn't count. Can't wait to hear what everyone has to say when seattle wins this weekend lol.

NFL channel for the early games is better than watching the game.every game on the screen, shows you who has ball and where and what down it is and how much time is left.

They alternate going to radio broadcast from game to game.

At 3 CST it ends right as the late games start.

When this goes to commercial every 30 minutes or so, I flip over to a game and watch for 3 minutes until NFL channel comes back on.

I remember a few years ago the Patriots went 12-4 and did'nt make the playoffs

But the 7-9 Seahawks host a playoff game lol

As soon as they start offering some sweet action on sports like golf, racing or tennis I'll stop watching and wagering on NFL.

Er, what's that? They do already? ****!

Let's face it boys, we're all suckers to lord football. Just wait until they propose an 18-game season, that will tighten up the product.

I do think poor officiating, too many commercials, and the overall hype of certain teams do detract from the overall product. That being said I'm still excited for the playoffs
