Week 16 Ice Picks

Looking to play some of the teams I faded last week as well as fade some of the teams I played. I subscribe to the theory that no team is as good as its last win or as bad as its last loss. Couple of favs for this week:

Pitt -14 - Might be a square play, but think they step up after last weeks loss and put Carolina back in their place.

Miami -3 - for some reason I feel like Miami gets it done at home this week with their defense.

NE -7.5 - similar to Pitt. Think NE steps up this week and puts Buff in their place. Public all over NE but I have to go with the gut feeling.

Like that PITT play Polar.....I litterally hit PITT 5 min after the JET loss @ 13 knowing the PUB would hammer that side!

imho BUF is one is one of the best teams in the afc right now. Problem is NE owns them since back to when Bledsoe was in BUF and I don't think the Bills are ready to upset the rolling Patriots here, who are one of the only teams in the conference that are definitely still better than the Bills. I'll probably stay away from this one, but the Bills are a playoff caliber team right now though, make no mistake about it. Anyone who thinks they are a cellar dweller hasn't been watching. They will be a force next year if they keep going in the direction they are going now.

Both the Bills and the Raiders on the rise? What is the NFL coming to? LOL

Thx Rawhide, Stif, and Joepa - hope you guys had a Merry Christmas as well. Stif, I completely agree on the Bills. I think they'll be a good team to ride early next year pending any significant changes.

Adding one for tonight:

Minny +14 - Another value play. Philly seems to have everything going for them while Minnesota is on their 3rd string QB and just got blown out the last two weeks. Expecting Philly to not be as good as they were last week and Minny to recover.
