    Week 14

This is a great site with a lot of good cappers - hopefully I can add some insight to what you guys already provide. Leave it to me to wait until Week 14 to start posting.

Will try to add reasoning for picks - feel free to add comments whether you agree or disagree.

Buffalo -1 - For some reason I still feel like Buffalo is actually a decent team despite their 2-10 record.

Detroit +6.5 - See above. Just think Detroit has more value than GB.

Washington +1 - Feels like Washington has been beaten down recently. Line looks a little low so anticipating the Skins to turn it around at home after last weeks beating.

NO -9 - St Louis is actually decent this year compared to years past. Line seems to beg for dog money so I'll take the fav.

All plays to win 1 unit.

    Good luck all. :th:
    2010 NCAAF: 10-5 (+4.5 units)
    2010 NFL: 18-5 (+12.6 units)
    2010 NCAAB: 34-24 (+8.6 units)
    2011 MLB: 33-50 (-10.34 units)

    :welcome:

I like the way you think. I totally agree about the +9 looking too high and seems to be begging for Rams money. 2 straight road wins over a team in disarray (Denver) and the worst team in the NFL who has already quit weeks ago (Arizona) doesn't convince me they will compete for a 3rd straight week on the road vs a solid team like the Aints.

    Good luck

      ooooooooooooooooooh GL Polar Huff!

      :welcome::out:

      - In all seriousness, I like Buffalo and New Orleans too, but I can't even pick my nose right now so that may be bad for you bud.

      - I'm content fading ol' Lang for now, but it's when I pile on my own picks that I get in trouble lately :bang:

      - Anyways GL and keep posting, it took me years to dissociate losing with posting as bad luck... in the end I figured out its not the posting, its just MEEEEEEEEE

Thanks Stif, I've gained a lot from your posts over the years. Can't say the same for Q

            lol

joepa, P.Ice is one of my best friends dating back to college, the guy always has some "super secret" bets going on on his own (rightfully so), but getting him to post plays on the forum is a fresh thing for him!

that being said, I'm sure he doesn't appreciate me outing him in association with me as I'm a turrible capper myself

btw Polar, hope we can take advantage of A-Rodge going down today... I'm also playing against him in fantasy football :puke: my team blows as it is when you're turning to Alex Smith to save your FF playoff hopes

Shame: Your mother wore Army shoes.
Batman: Yes, she did. As I recall, she found them quite comfortable.

Shame: You big sissy, you couldn't drive nails in a snow bank.
Batman: Why would I want to?

Thx Q and Joepa. You're right though, Q does spend way too much time in the "batcave" - i.e. locked in the TTU library basement analyzing his bets. :pud:

Anywho, I'll take 3-0-1 any day. Leaning Houston tomorrow but dont know if I can pull the trigger on a team always seems to find a way to lose.

                  Cheers :guzzle:

                    MNF

Houston +3 (to win 1 unit) will post record as soon as I figure out how to make a sig lol

A couple things on this one:

                    1) Lang :boog: is on the Ravens
                    2) Guy at work said he'd put his mortgage on Baltimore covering (love it when people say this)
                    3) The line hasn't moved with 80% of the bets coming in on Baltimore (according to VI)

Balt could very well win and cover but I'm guessing smart money is on Houston.

                      - was it David Smith? lol

click user CP above, then edit signature on left side!

only disadvantage (I learned the hard way) to editing record in sig, is if you eff up the numbers, there is not "hard" post of past numbers to fall back on to correct the figure. But I'm a retard at math...

GL! Like Houston too, looking for Arian Foster to run wild, Baltimore rush D been a bit susceptible last few games

Im completly 100% with you Polar Ice

I was not gonig to pull the trigger on Houston....but I think I am now with 100% of the reasons you did....
1- Fade Lang...cant buck that trend
2 - A friend of mine that mirros Joe Public is 2 units on Baltimore...can't help but fade that
3 - Line has not budged all week despite huge precentige on Baltimore

I like the way you think dude!
If it ain't fun, don't do it!

Thx JB - Hopefully they can find a way to comeback in the second half and not d*ck it up this time...and the Ravens just returned the kickoff for a TD as I write this.

Kevin (good name btw) - glad I could help out a little. The kids need it more than I do...great thing you're doing.

Q - lmao, sorry to say its not David Smith. No longer can I pawn off all my work on that guy. Thx for the heads up on the sig.
