Hi Guys,
We need your help. Our annual toy drive is really slow to get rolling this year. Many fellas usually pop in late with donations which is of course much appreciated. We're a bit worried though as we're looking to do some early shopping before the "good stuff" starts flying off the shelves plus our main shopping date is set for December 16th and time is closing in fast.
The need this year is ENORMOUS with the economy being as crappy as it is.
We've got $7250 in contests for "donators" to participate in. We've only got like 20 donations so far. We're in talks with more sportsbooks to drum up even more betting accounts to give away as incentive to donate as well.
There have been some guys pop in with some enormous donations. Don't let that scare you off and don't be embarassed to pop in with a $20. Every single donation counts, especially since the avg toy we purchase is only 10-15 bucks.
I've had a few guys say "here's 20 or here's 40, it aint much but i hope it helps"
The truth is, thats SUPER generous and it goes a LONG way.
I've got organizations coming to me with increased numbers this year. Increased need and decreased donations is a disaster.
Sometimes even I think that some of these f'n deadbeat parents of these kids should be taking care of business but when you dig into the situations and hear the details, it becomes very apparent that for numerous reasons, many of these kids parents have problems bigger than they can handle and NO KID should have to pay for that.
Please consider donating anything you can to help. I GUARANTEE you that you're Christmas morning will be filled with so much inner peace knowing that some little guy/gal is enjoying Christmas morning rather than crying because they didn't get anything.
Kids get told that if they're bad Santa Claus doesn't come. We can't let that happen.
I'd like to punch every one of these kids parents in the mouth, but that's besides the point. We can't fix the world, but for every bad situation that we turn good, it's a win and every win counts BIGTIME.
I challenge you to read <a href="http://www.predictem.com/forums/predictem-com-10th-annual-holiday-toy-drive/13949-stories-past.html">these stories from the past</a> and try to make it to the end without feeling some emotion.
