I too feel like I deserved a better fate yesterday than I ended up receiving. Ended up 6-6 (picks in the discussion thread) but was on the wrong end of 3 total team debacles (chi, sd and ariz) where if those teams would have played even half decent they probably woulda all won/covered but what can u do?

That late game was a mess. I don't know if i've ever seen so many obvious missed calls by refs who were standing right in front of the plays. Yikes.

Interested in your reasoning on Dallas tonight if you get a chance, as I haven't made up my mind on that one yet....

Tough end to Sunday. End up down a little juice after what I felt (except for the SNF total) was a solidly capped football week. In retrospect the Bears game was perhaps a coin flip, but I was playing on the better D at home. While the other week missed fgs were my downfall, this week was turnovers. One thing I will say.... Minny will be a solid wager when they decide to give AP the ball more.

A couple reasons for me to play on Dallas here. Big time situational play- the Boys are statistically doing fine but because of turnovers and dumb penalties have just one win. They have already lost to a divisional opponent and lost both games vs NYG last season. I in no way put them as a top tier team this season but they are good enough to grab a home win off a divisional foe in this spot. IMO they were in a horrid spot last week vs the Vikings (but could have won), now I think it's the perfect time to jump on board.

To me the Giants are coming in severely overrated, as a defense and a whole. Everyone is buzzing about the defense returning, when really they just played some average teams and bad defenses. Numbers were skewed from blowing out Houston, which was their most quality win. The Bears offense was hilariously bad and they didn't look good vs the Lions ran more plays and had more yards but lost because of turnovers and penalties. 11 penalties to just 2 and 3-1 tos. The Lions threw for 302 which makes me think the Cowboys offense is going to have their way with the Giants secondary.

I was on the Giants vs the Texans and also in the best of situations vs Chicago (though they covered I felt a better team would have blown out the Bears in that spot). After the Bears game I made a note that I would fade the Giants here. The Titans ran for 161 yards vs them, and the Colts put on a clinic with Addai and Brown combining for 161. I think that Felix Jones is going to have a big day. He is averaging 4.5 ypc, ran all over the Titans and played well out of the backfield vs the Vikings. Thing is he has yet to score a td this season, which IMO changes after today.

Basically I get the better offense (IMO not debatable), the better D (i think), in a much better spot with Dallas desperate and home at a fg. The drawback are you have to hope that Kosier's replacement at lg can hold up, and accept the fact that they will have a couple dumb-ass penalties. If they win the turnover battle I think they win by 10+ here, and may play and adjusted spread....

Thanks for your write up. I agree with what you said, especially about the Giants being overrated due to beating some avg to bad teams. I also agree they should have hammered Chicago and that win gets less and less impressive too each time Cutler makes a fool of himself over and over again.

                  Plus Lang likes NYG lol

I think I'll go with Dallas tonight as well and hope they can at least control the stupid play somewhat for a change lol

lnitial thought was over, but I would rather just play on the side which I like more. If there is a lower scoring 1sth I may look into the over 2ndh.... GLTA

will say I think Miles Austin and Dallas wr as a whole have an advantage here, Dez is in. Look at Austin's home numbers this season so far... WOW
