Love the jets play stif..I cannot stand everyone saying that the Jets will be blown out because it simply wont happen..Most of the chargers wins this year have been within 10 points and the only blowouts they have had are twice against Kansas City and once against Tennesse..Neither of those teams have close to the defenses that the Jets have. They struggle against teams that have good running games and thats exactly what the Jets have
I hate the fact that people are saying that the Jets backed their way into the playoffs because the fact of the matter is that they are here and yes they are playing in the divisonal round..People should know better that it doesnt matter who the better team is, its who comes out the most fired up and who brings the most energy to the field
A recent opponent that you can compare the chargers and the jets with are the cincinatti bengals. At home, SD had a very difficult time with the begnals and barely came out with a win..Away at cinci, the Jets beat the bengals, and now the its the Jets and Chargers in the divisional round
Should be a gret game, could go either way..even if the chargers win I believe it will be tight till the endComment

Ohh yeah not to mention the jets have yet to be blown out this year..Against the POTENT offense of the Saints they only lost by 14 and their second largest loss was to the Patriots, with a loss of 17...two somewhat blowouts and EVERY other loss by the Jets have been within 5 or less..In my opinion SD will really have to bring everything they got to blow the Jets out because we all know what an offense like the saints and pats can do when their hotComment

Does anybody think Jets/Chargers go over 43 . I think so , but I'm a little shy because the last few NFL playoff games have killed me. Also seems like a lot of public action on over , always scary.If your actions inspire others to dream more,learn more,

Haha....I don't honestly know what anyone saw that made them think SD would blow out the Jets. #1 overall D, #1 passing D, #1 rushing D, and #1 rushing O. And like you said, they held everyone in check some top offenses this year. San Diego is so one dimensional on offense it's not even funny with no running game to speak of (ironic, isn't it, after being such a good running team with LT all those years), and I really couldn't see them just scoring at will on the Jets like they did on all the crap bags they were beating on their way to winning all those games.
Nice effort by the Chargers, who are a good team....I don't mean to sound like i'm bashing them cause i'm not....and maybe they would have won had their kicker made those field goals, but he didn't, and they didn't. In the end, +8.5 was never in question, and that's all that mattered to me.
The Jets remind me alot of the 2000 Ravens. Stay in the game with solid defense, play conservative and patient on offense till you get a break, usually caused by a big defensive play, and then attack. Not saying they are going to win next week or win the super bowl, but the similarities are there.
The Jets won 5 of their last 6 (even if they were helped by Indy sitting guys down in the 2H), so I don't see how that's backing in. I'm not a Jets fan by any means, but what they have done so far earns my respect.
Looks like they are getting over a TD again next week at Indy (early line is Indy -7.5). I don't know that I really get that line either.
Flyers - I can't agree more about that dumb ass horn. How annoying. Reminds me of something that you'd hear at a college game, and it would still be really annoyingComment
