    Week 12 Discussion

It's a short week, but discussion is always helpful.

    Oakland +13.5

I know they are in a bad spot off a big win and on the road on a short week, but Dallas's offensive struggles should allow OAK to hang around. The longer they are in the game, the more confidence they have. The under could be an option with the raiders run game, and cowboys offensive struggles.

I think the giants are overvalued here. They haven't shown me anything that would make me want to lay 6.5 on the road. Denver has not played well, but this could be a good opportunity for tthem to regain some confidence. I will wait to see if orton plays.

Agree on Denver; they definitely haven't looked good the last few games, but what the f*ck kind of line is that??? Orton is listed as probable and the Giants could only muster a win in overtime at home against ATL coming off a bye, and now they're td road faves at Denver? I haven't seen Denver play the last few weeks, and I know the defense is starting to struggle, but I'd assume not having Orton at full strength really hurt them in parts of the last few games.

Only looking at turkey day games now, will get to the others later.

None of these games are easy to cap, but the play I like most is Packers -11. I know GB's defense is banged up but so is Detroit's offense. The packers are a well oiled offensive machine right now, they crushed the lions last meeting 26-0 so even if the margin of defeat is half of that this game it still covers. Packers are such a hot and cold team though it is scary to back them.

Even scarier to back is the Raiders, wow. They manage to surprise every now and then but mostly they've just been terrible. However with Jamarcus Russel FINALLY on the bench I think the Raiders have become more scrappy, and are capable (to a degree) or keeping up with good teams ie The Bengals last week. Dallas' offense has just been non-existent lately, but their D has been strong and kept them in games and allowed them to win. I lean raiders + the points, will maybe wait to see if this line climbs at all due to the Cowboys being a public team. I kind of like the Under 40 as well.

Giants Broncos, talk about another couple of tough teams to read. The Giants have just not shown up much these past few games but Denver has also fallen by the wayside after their hot start. Who gets back on track here? I don't think I'll be able to put my money on Orton and Moreno versus Manning and Jacobs, I think the Giants will get to work here and continuing getting back on track. Laying only 6 in a pick the winner situation, I like the giants.

All I got for now, happy Turkey day everybody
      GO TITANS!
