    Oracle's Week 9 NFL

    YTD: 4-2 / +6.60 units

All plays are 3% or 3 units.

    San Francisco -4 -110 (Bookmaker)
    Miami +10.5 -110 (Bookmaker)
    Atlanta -8.5 -110 (Bookmaker)
    New Orleans -12.5 -110 (Bookmaker)
    Arizona ML +120 (Bookmaker)
    Houston +9 -115 (Greek)
    Tampa Bay +10 -105 (BoDog)
    Cincinnati +2.5 +100 (5Dimes)

Leaning towards the Over in both the Houston and Cincinnati games. Also looking at Seattle. Card is bigger than usual already so don't know if I'll add anything or not. I'll try to get some short write ups posted for each. Good luck on all of your plays today and as always any and all feedback is welcome.

      San Francisco -4

I have this line being way off. I have San Francisco being -9 over a one dimensional Titans team that is traveling across the country. The Titans have been horrible on the west coast over the last few years and people just don't seem to see that the 49ers are a pretty good team this year. They got blasted once by the Falcons but have played excellent football against Indianapolis, Minnesota, and Houston in their other losses. The Niners have defended the run well all season which will force VY to make plays with his arm unlike last week vs the Jaguars. San Francisco coming off back to back losses will be motivated and shut down Chris Johnson and the Titans at home.

      Miami +10.5

Way too many points for a division rival. I know the Dolphins have several rookies starting in their secondary. I know Brady and Moss and Welker are well equipped to exploit this but I also know the Patriots are paper thin up front and will have isues stopping the Miami rushing attack. Sparano will keep the Pats offense off the field by smashmouthing the New England front with Brown and Williams. Another handicapping myth is the bye week. Home favorites off the bye have not fared well historically and the Pats are overpriced after pounding two very week pass defenses in Tampa Bay and Tennessee.

Usually not on big NFL favorites, or big favorites in general, but I see value in these two today.

          New Orleans -12.5

Carolina is coming off a big upset win against the Cardinals where Kurt Warner threw five interceptions and fumbled once. Do you really think Brees will do the same? Carolina plays one way under Fox and with turnover prone Delhomme. Run the Ball! If they get behind and are taken out of this game plan they are dead. The Saints, at home, will jump on the Panthers early, force them to throw and sit back and gobble up Delhomme horrible passes. I got this at New Orleans -17 so the line has value because of Carolina's unlikely win last week and New Orleans coming off a Monday night. The loss of Ellis up front hurts the Saints but no way will Carolina be able to match the points that New Orleans will put up.

          Atlanta -8.5

Atlanta shouild be motivated coming off two straight losses. The Falcons have had a brutal schedule but now get a break with the lowly Redskins coming to town. The Skins have a coach on the hot seat, their superstar criticizing the front offense, a pathetic patchwork offensive line, and just lost one of their main weapons in Cooley. The could ill afford to lose any offense on a team that has yet to score 17 or more points in a game. Their defense is decent but they will wear down from being on the field and under constant attack from a diversified Atlanta offense that has a plethora of weapons.

            PENDING

            New Orleans -12.5 -110 (Bookmaker)
            San Francisco -4 -110 (Bookmaker)

Off to a 6-0 / +18.60 unit start. Not looking good for the Saints but still time. See how it goes, can't complain regardless.

                  Sunday Night

                  Philadelphia -3 +105 (Bookmaker)

Eagles should be bigger favorites than this. I have the Eagles -7. Dallas always has an off line being the public team that they are.
