    Finally, it's about damn time!

The Bucs are FINALLY benching Byron Leftwich.

Josh Johnson is the new starter.

I'VE SEEN BASEBALL PITCHERS GO INTO A FULL WINDUP THAT IS FASTER THAN BYRONS RELEASE!

Now maybe TB can win some games.

Would it kill them to give Derrick Brooks a call or are those bridges burned?????

Anything could help that defense, which interestingly used to be their calling card.

Also wouldn't hurt to get that trio of RBs more heavily involved. Someone's gotta get the ball to K2 and Bryant or those guys are gonna freak!

Congrats to all who were on NYG this weekend - very impressive performance, especially by that D.

That's great about Leftwich. He is basically immobile and with Fayne out the line can't give him the 4-8 seconds he needs to get rid of the ball. As for Brooks, he pretty much got old last year. You may see him sign with someone this year, but I don't think it'll be Tampa. N.O. and Oakland brought him in for a look and didn't want him.

It doesn't really matter who the qb is right now since the D can't seem to get off the field. They've given up close to 1300 yards in 3 games. Monte Kiffin must be either appalled or laughing his ass off.

As a Buc fan since the beginning I have always been optimistic but the best I can see this year is 4 wins and that's with the help of the football gods. I can almost see them losing every game but hope not.

i mean in the end, does it really matter......

if you don't have an O line and a D line you have nothing. Always kills me how teams go after this QB and this RB and that WR in the draft trying to fix their team.....if i were a GM i would draft 7 linemen every year until i had a great line.

and on a side note man are there just some BRUTAL teams in the league this year......i mean just awful.....Cleveland, Oakland, KC, Tampa, Washington, Rams, Lions.......

can't remember when there were this many flat out inept football teams. Cleveland, Oakland, Tampa and Washington might be 4 of the worst offensive teams in the history of football......seems like centuries ago that teams like the Raiders, Chiefs, Browns and Redskins were yearly playoff teams.
