Terrible day in real football made up for by a solid day on the books. 11-3 in regular plays, 1-3 teasers 1 pending, 0-2 parlays 2 pending, +7.86 units on the day. Why don't I feel that excited? I got crushed in most fantasy leagues too, definitely in the predictem league. :puke: Not the best week for football on a personal level, more of an observational level.

I know I'm a bit of an outsider but I now consider the information on this site invaluable. I would highly appreciate anyone's opinion on what I should do with my teasers and parlays pending on tomorrow's game in terms of a hedge play, if anything.

Carolina +18.5 wins 1 unit

Should I just let it ride? Maybe look into an alternative spread like Dallas -3.5 and for the ultimate middle? But no that seems like the wrong idea since I could already middle...what are you guys picking tomorrow?

The gamboooooler in my always tries for the middle, but I just don't see it hitting, at all. I think Dallas rolls by 10-14 so you win a few units on that with your scenarios out there. But it all depends on the type of bettor you are, gambol? - let it ride. Profit - hedge, obviously. Looks like you're doing real well this year, why not keep it going????

Well I'm a little of column A and column B so why not gamble but still go for the profit? My views on tonight's game:

I really like Dallas to get the win here tonight versus a reeling Carolina team. The Cowboys blew it last week but it wasn't all bad, just kind of a strange evening with all the hoopla surrounding the festivities. The Cowboys were there to celebrate and break in their new pleasure palace or whatever the **** $1.2 billion will buy nowadays and just try and somehow live up to all of that. The Giants just came to play football. I was all over the Giants last week, easily one of my strongest plays. After watching that game I am thinking that the Cowboys will play a little more conservative and not be all about the fireworks but just about getting the W. The Panthers are a mess kind of, Delhomme is all over the place and while their run game is solid they have just had trouble executing when it counts. I think both teams are good for some points here, but I get the sneaking suspicion this game might be fought hard and tight at first while both QB's try to limit their mistakes. Given my current pending wagers force me to root for a Dallas win 8 points or less I will not be putting a large stake down tonight. HOWEVER if I were to pick now not based on anything previous before, and seeing that the line has dropped to -8 cause the public seems to love the 0-2 team tonight, I would lean the cowboys to get their game together and cover the number. 8 is a big number though, and there is no doubt that these teams are both in what they probably consider must-win-situations, so I am liking my teaser at +18.5 very much. Sorry if this kind of went nowhere, thinking out loud (sort of), but I am pretty confident in a Cowboys win tonight and will not be hedging on the Carolina ML any tonight....so my silly plays are:

Should have laid off at the half and stuck with my gut. I messed up though and got my plays confused slightly, but props were :chaching::chaching:. The cards fell for a 5-2 night +4.6 units with 2 teasers pending into next week.

Congrats to all on Dallas and the under, methinks the public got hammered tonight. Let's do the same next week and pick some good ones :thumbs:
