    Halfman WEEK #2

    6-9, -4.15 YTD

Looking to bounce back from a horrendous monday nite:

    Patriots -3, -120.................1.5*

Lets start by saying i hate the Pats but this is a gift. Too many people falling in love with the Jets and Pats come from behind win. Game is similar to last yr when people fell in love with the fast Jets start to the point where NE was only fav by -1 @ NY. They won by 9. If jets backers are so confident, why not put money on the ML as well? Line seems like it wants to attract Jets backers. Some trends to consider: Patriots are 9-1 SU and 10-0 ATS @ NYJ since '99.

    Bengals +10...................2*

Too many points IMO, esp knowing the Cincy D-fense is much improved.

    TENNESSEE -7.....................2*

Houston got there ass handed to them by a better defense. Ten is a top 5 AFC defense. TEN dominiates the Texans at home and after a hard fought loss against the defending champs, i look for TEN to put up points in bunches today.

    Texans/TEN OVER 41....................1*

    Panthers +3.5 (1H).......................1/2*
    CAR + 6 (game).......................1/2*

ATL is 1-12 playing at home off a DD home win
ATL is 1-16 ATS off a home win

          SUNDAY NITE:

          DALLAS -2.5, -120.................1*

Going against most on the forum on this one. Gmen do have a great run game thats a given, but what beat the cowboys was the Giants torching the secondary with long passes. Plax was a one man show against the Boys. No Plax NO Toomer. The gmen need to strech out the field in order to get the run game going. Dallas will stack the box. Home field advantage at its best. New stadium, prime time, and Cowboys losing?? Not so fast my friend. Cowboys are the better offensive team, their defense is not bad. Its going to be very loud and Eli likes the shotgun so it will be difficult to hear. I really cant see the Gmen going here and beating the Cowboys in their first ever real game.

          Dallas +4.5/ OVER 38...................1*

          Dallas over 12.5 (1H)...............1/2*
