Why is the NE 1st half line pretty much the same as the game line? Tells me either the books like NE 1H, or like the Skins to make a run in the 2H, or both. In any case, if Brady plays the entire 1H or even close to it, they should score enough to cover this spread, as they're simply the better team. This play would be considered a steal in the reg season, so if it's starters vs starters for at least most of the 1H, it should be a pretty good play here too. Much like the Jets game Monday night, I think the Skins have something to play for here and should make a push in the 2H once NE sits the starters. Their backups looked pretty horrible vs CIN last week.
Arizona is looking for their first win, and should be able to find the end zone plenty tonight with their high powered offense at home against a team with what will probably be a questionable defense this year. I think even though it's preseason, I think the intensity edge goes to the winless home team over the undefeated road team.Comment
