I love Favre and I love the Vikings even more but am glad to hear this news.

Thank God, and not a minute too soon. Not that I have a problem with the guy as a player, but with all this hoopla surrounding him the last few years, you'd think he was a ditzy 15 year old girl, and that doesn't seem to be what a guy like him with a tough guy image should be all about.

Plus he hasn't really been any good for quite a while now anyway, but if some stupid team wanted to pay him like he was still a premier QB, then I wouldn't have blamed him for taking it either.

I'm basically just glad I don't have to hear about it anymore. IMO he really tainted a great career by acting like someone on the level of Miley Cyrus for the last 2 years...
