    JML Week 12 NFL >>>

    NFL YTD: 55-53, +20.52 Units

Got this one in early, as it is bound to be a public play...my early public play last week (Giants) cashed, so I'm doing it again...

    Patriots +3 -125 vs Dolphins
I love the revenge factor for NE this week, and I don't see Miami sweeping the Pats this year. In that last blowout win by Miami in NE, it was the coming out party of the wildcat formation bull****...leading to a career day by Brown. No way Belichek gets burned by that stuff again. It was also Cassel's second start of his career...and we can all agree he is a much better QB at this point in the season. NE also never loses two straight, and has the extra 3 days coming of a Thursday game last week. I like the Pats bigtime in this battle for first. Miami has been rolling...winning 4 straight, but they've looked mediocre/bad at home in two wins over rejects Oakland and Seattle (both with West/East North/South travel). Coming off a divisional loss last week to the Jets...I like NE to hammer Miami in this rematch! I'll be adding a ML play later...

One more early one...lol...riding the Giants again...probably public so it's in early...

    Giants -3 -117 vs Cards
Zona's had a pretty easy ride as of late, playing in that ****ty division, with a big lead, and yet coming off close wins to Seattle, SF, and a win over horrible STL. Their one recent loss was to over-rated Carolina. They take a big step-up in opponent this week against probably the leagues best team, only getting a FG (bought hook). I think it shows, and it's a perfect spot for a loss. NYG have had the much harder run lately, with impressive wins over Bal, Phi, Dal & Pit. NYG has the pass defence (ranked #2) to control Zona's only strength, and has the pass rush (4th with 31 sacks) to expose Zona's weakness...namely Warner's mistakes and turnover problems when pressured. Add in NY's steady offence (they absolutely dominated a good Ravens defence for much of the last game), and I have a road win. Travel could be a concern, but the East>West has not nearly been as bad statistically this year as West>East.

Trying to put this weeks plays in early this week, as I am leaving for Montreal on Thursday for the 96th Grey Cup Game... and I won't have any other time to look at the games. Should be a wild weekend, as Montreal is one of the best party cities in the world to begin with! Add in Canada's biggest annual party, and it should be insane.

      Anyway...two more from the NFL...

      Falcons -1 -108 vs Panthers
Finally I agree that the Panthers are over-rated...despite their record, this team does not look like a contender...especially on the road! I have watched their last two games, and it has not been pretty. They could have easily lost that game in Oakland outright with a few bounces against them. I mean, they came off a bye, and stunk it up against the f'ing Raiders. This is not a road team whatsoever, and now they go on the road against a good Falcons team who does play well at home, and are coming off their first loss there. I'll take the home team in a pick'em.

      Titans -5.5 -109 vs Jets
Titans are winning and covering, so I'm going to keep playing them, especially when they are playing back at home, in a pick the winner, against the questionable Jets. NY's been on a nice run, and props to their win in NE, but I think they lose here. This will be the best defence Favre has faced all year, and I think we see some mistakes from him, coming after a few clean games.

          2 More...including Thursday...

          Steelers -10 -125 vs Bungles
Pitt owns Cincy, even when the they are decent. It happened already this year in Ohio. With the Bungels seemingly playing better lately in peoples eyes with two good efforts at home, I'm going against them back on the road, in Pittsburgh of all places. This ones a blowout, IMO.

          Bucs -7.5 -105 vs Lyings
Bucs not great on the road, but Detroit worse at home...Bucs in a romp with Dunn running all day, and Garcia picking them apart. Does the Bucs defence pitch a shutout?

Heading to Montreal.....GL this week Everyone....if anyone cares, I like Montreal PK against Calgary in the Grey Cup. Home field advantage in a Championship football game means alot...Montreal also has more veterans that have been to the big game before, and the Calgary QB, Burris has a rep of choking in the post-season. He got a close win in the West final, win a less than impressive performance. In a hostile environment like this year, and in his first Grey Cup experience...I think the Montreal defence gets the best of him. The two most explosive offences are meeting in this one (hence the 57 total), but I think the veteran QB from Montreal, Calvillo plays a little better this weekend. Two very good teams, so it should be a good one! I believe it's on Versus in the US if anyone's ineterested...lol...

Tried to get tickets to the Habs/Rangers game on Saturday Night, but they are all but impossible, with Patrick Roy's jersey being retired and all.

Looking at Minnesota ML in the NFL as well, they have everything to play for, and Jax is done...even Del Rio all but admitted it coming off that last loss. They stunk before, and now with the season all but over...I don't expect much. But I'll be making sure there are no Williams' suspensions first. If everyone is good to go, I'll put in the Vikings ML from Montreal...

              Hey JML

I know pitt owns cinci but 11points in the cold scares me the bungles have been
covering too . Last game in cinci it 35-10 pitt but pitt offense has not been good

Maybe the under here . But Cinci has a Plethera of gyuys on the injury list
              NFL 8-5 + 5.97

Bengals have played tough on the road against tougher competition in NY GIANTS and DALLAS when romo was healthy.. Going to tease it to be safe, i doubt seeing a blowout, PIT will run against one of the worst run derfense and milk the clock IMO, really lookin hard at that pats play, good job
