Updated Record- 4-4-1
Ravens+4- While their record doesn't really show it, the Ravens have been playing good ball the last couple of weeks. They played well and almost took a tough game at Pitt on the road, and then could have beaten the Titans last week if it wasn't for a terrible penalty called on Suggs late in the game. The Colts are still getting more respect then they should due to their name, and could have been 0-4 at this point if it wasn't for some lucky breaks in their games.
Falcons +3- Both teams are playing better then most people expected. The Bears have looked good overall, but I don't think they are ready to be 3 point road favorites, and the falcons at home should be able to at least keep this game very close like they have with most games, if not win it.
Texans -3- Miami does look like a very excited team right now, but this could be a good spot for a letdown. The Texans may be 0-4, but they are a 3 point favorite for a reason. They just played the Jags and Colts very close, and last game was really a fluke due to Rosenfels basically being a clown, and forgetting how to hold on to a football for six minutes straight. The Texans need this game badly, one more loss could be a nail in the coffin for a season where they were supposed to be a surprise team.
Rams +14(-125@5Dimes)- The Redskins have played very well obviously taking out the Dallas and Philly back to back, but this line may be just a bit too high because of those wins. The Rams have had a week to recoup, have a new coach who probably isn't as hated as Linehan, and have Bulger back at QB. As bad as the Rams are, the Redskins just don't seem like a blow-out type of team to me. Took the extra half point for a little extra cushion.
Cardinals +5- Have liked the way Arizona has looked this year, especially with Warner thinking he is the MVP again. The Cowboys just haven't looked like an elite team the last 2 weeks, and they just seem to be making more mistakes then they should be. Five points at home is very nice for a 3-2 team that everyone knows can move the ball very well, and neither of these defenses are playing great so I'll take those points.
GL Everyone.
