Oh, man, Bo, you got me curious and so I had to look it up....this is just horrible. Well, first off, it all started with Greg Cook in 1969. He was a pretty highly touted QB...in his first season, he pretty much had a career ending injury. Look at this list of 1st rounders since 1984...a veritable who's who of the NFL Hall of Fame....good Lord. Some of these picks were bad picks by Bengal management....others were pretty solid players who got BENGALIZED....
Ricky Hunley
Eddie Brown
Joe Kelly
Jason Buck
Rickey Dixon
Eric Ball
James Francis
Alfred Williams
David Klingler
John Copeland
Dan Wilkinson
KiJana Carter
Willie Anderson
Reinard Wilson
Takeo Spikes
Akili Smith (wouldn't give up Akili for the Saints and their 7 pick or whatever trade offer)
Peter Warrick
Justin Smith
Levi Jones
Carson Palmer
Chris Perry
David Pollack
Jonathon Joseph
Leon Hall
Keith Rivers
That is a pretty ****ty list of first round picks if ever I've seen one...."You come at the King, you best not miss." OmarComment

Well, like I said, what a bittersweet pill. They certainly won this under season total bet with panache....yuck.
Having said that, people in the greater Cincy area are thinking perfection for the Bengals....I say rubbish....the Bengals will **** up perfection even if its for infamy. I don't know where that "W" is lurking in the future....but its somewhere.
Good God, college hoops can't come quickly enough for me. And now I might as well step onto my Xavier soapbox.....coming off a 30 win season and Elite 8 appearance, X is supposed to take a major step back with the losses of Lavender, Burrell and Duncan. Well, they may take a step back.....BUT, if Jordan Crawford is somehow eligible this year, watch the **** out for the Musketeers. If the NCAA bans IU from postseason play this year, there is a remote possibility Crawford could be eligible this year. That would be a starting 5 of Crawford (1st team Big 10 freshman), B.J. Raymond, C.J. Anderson, Derrick Brown and Jason Love/Kenny Frease (4 star 7 foot center). I'll take it. UC football got run by UCONN this weekend....their basketball team just lost their starting PG (Cashmere Wright) to a torn ACL.....Xavier is all southwestern Ohio has......hoops can't come quickly enough.
Mark my words, if Jordan Crawford is eligible this year, the Musketeers are a top 15-20 team easily.
