It takes me back, too, BB. I grew up in Lafayette, Indiana and in farm country. I spent many a weekend and summer bailing hay, detasseling corn, plowing fields, chasing the farmers daughter, etc. Welcome I.H. Where do you harvest at?
ahhh, the good ole days workin' the wagon, pullin' them bails out of the bailer. I worked for 6 different farmers, from age 12-16, making a buck fifty to 2 per hour. I use to stack those bails far above what those wagons were designed for, and never lost a load!
I hear ya', HD. I learned at an early age what a hard days labor was all about. And when I got home, momma had a hot meal ready that I quickly devoured and then retired for the night. And then back at it at dawn the next day, until sundown. My momma and poppa didn't raise no malingering deadbeats.
