Thor's NFL Super Bowl 2/3:Super Bowl XLII

    ...YTD...Reg Season...96-81-6
    ...YTD...Playoffs...12-7-1

    ...YTD...Total Year Overall...108-88-7

SUPER BOWL XLII: New York vs New England

Last Game of the Season that Finishes of a Wild Weird Fun Strange Just Plain Football Season that had Everything..109 Yard Touchdown Run Off a Missed FG...Team Sets a Perfect Record for Reg Season...Team Wins 10 Games Straight Road Games..QB Older than Me Comes Off Couch 1 Week to QB Next Week..and Now we Have the Last 2 Teams to Play for the Big Trophy...N York and N Eng have Played 2 times All Ready this Past Season...Week 4 in Pre-Season 20-27 at N Eng to Finish Off the Pre-Season..Then in Week 17 with N Eng at 15-0 and Going for a Unbeaten Season and N York makes a Choice to Place thier Starters the Entire Game which turns Out to be the Right Choice for Them as the "Big MO" Helped them more Than Resting Players like Most Teams and N Eng had to Fight for thier Life being Down 12 Points in 2nd Half to Finally Win 38-35 at the End to go 16-0 Reg Season but N York Gained the Cofidence for the Playoffs..Now in the Last Game of Season Once Again the 2 Teams meet Again to End the Season..Both Teams enter the Game with Records..N Eng with a 18-0 Record and N York being the 2007 Cinderella Team with a Road 10 Game Winning Streak...Including 3 Straight on the Road in the Playoffs...N Eng had Brady Throw for 50 TD Passes in Reg Season and Moss Catch 23 TD Passes and Walker with 112 Rec..This Season the N Eng Team Started Up Fast Winning 1st 8 Games Winning by an Ave of 26 Points and N Eng was 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS...BUT Last 8 Games N Eng was 8-0 SU Last 8 BUT 1-7 ATS Last 8 Games...TRENDS..N York is 5-0 ATS Last 5 Playoff Road Games...N York is 5-0 ATS vs TEam with a Winning Record....N York is 5-0 ATS in thier Last 5 Overall Games...N Eng games have went UNDER 4-0-1 Last 5 Home Games...N Eng has went OVER 4-0 in their Last 4 Games on GRASS...This Past week Brady had a Air Cast on his Foot for awhile after thier Last Game but he will be All Right by Game Time without a Doubt...Only Bradshaw and Montana have Won 4 Super Bowls in their Careers and Brady is Trying to Join Them...Season Rank: Gives the #16th N York Offense vs the # 4th N Eng Defense.....and #1st N Eng Offense vs the #8th N York Defense...But the N York Team has Improved During this Season and have Gotten Better as the Year has Gone On...Like in the Last 3 Games (ALL Playoff Games on the Road) N York QB Eli Manning has Went 53 to 85 on his Passes for 63% for 602 Yards...4 TDs and Zero INTs vs Tampa Bay...Dallas and at Green Bay..all on Road Including the Cold Weather Game at Green Bay in the Champ Game....N Eng Started the Season with the Spygate Game vs the NY Jets but the Team Gave Support to their Coach Belichick which was the DC on N York Super Bowl Winning Team under Parcells in 1990 in which Coach Coughlin was the WR Coach...N Eng won the Pre-Season Game 27-20 at N Eng and Also the Last Reg Season Game 38-35 at N York....Form 2003 to 2006 N Eng vs the NFC are 14-2 SU Over the 4 Year Peroid....N York vs the AFC are 6-10 Over a 4 Year Peroid Overall in the Past...In 2007 N Eng vs NFC was 4-0 and N York vs AFC was 3-1 SU....Final Stats with Playoffs Included...QB Manning..3938 Yards...57% Comp with 27 TDs/20 INTs with QB Rating 77.4 while Brady has 5277 Yards...70% Comp 55 TDs/11 INTs with 116.2 QB Rating...I Could Keep Writing Stats...Trends..Writups...Ect...But I Think I will Stop Here...But New England is the Best Football Team to Come Along in Years and New York will have some Problems Covering the WRs But the Football is Not Round So Sometime Strange Things Happen...Here is What I See...I Think the N Eng Team will Win the Game But by Around 10 Points....Looking at an 34-24 Game or a 37-27 Game with a Tight Game until a Late 4th Q Run for New England....So...

Some Super Bowl Facts: NFC EAST VS AFC EAST Super Bowls

In the Super Bowl Since 1986 Season...The Favorites of 10 Points or More have Gone 4-3-1 with the Biggest Spread Being the 14 Point Spread in 2002 Game Between St Louis vs New England were New England was 14 Point Dog Only to Win the Game 20-17.....In New England's Next 2 Super Bowls they were 7 Point Favorites but Failed to Cover on Both Games by Beating Carolina by 3 Points in 2004 and Philly by 3 Points in 2005....Overall New England has been to 5 Super Bowls in 21 Years and Only Covered Once (1-4 ATS)....In Super Bowl Matchups between Teams from AFC EAST vs the NFC EAST in the Past 20 Years in 5 Games the NFC EAST has went 4-1 Straight Up and 5-0 ATS vs the Spread with One of those Games the NY Giants Vs the Buffalo Bills in 1991 with a 20-19 Win with Wide Right FG by Buffalo...The Only AFC EAST Win was New England Beating the NFC EAST Philly Team in 2005....New York has Become the 1st Team EVER to Make the Super Bowl Although Having a Losing Home Record at 3-5...By After Losing 1st Road Game they Won 7 Reg Season Games on the Road then 3 Road Games as # 5 Seed in the Playoffs on the NFC Side...In the Last 20 Years Only 5 Times have the Total Been Over 50 Points with 2 of them Going Over the Total and the Other 3 Going Under the Total...New England was in one of those Game...the 2004 Game vs Carolina went Over the 53 Point Total after a Slow 1st Half.....THESE are Just Some Notes that Compare these 2 Teams and the Super Bowl Based on Spread and Total and were these 2 Teams Come From....:sm:

The Total is Close to Me...I Have the Total Right at the Low to Mid 50's....So Hope the Total can Make it Over...!!...My Local Man Says Everyone is Beating New York...Worries me Some...But I Still Believe More Pressure is On New England and NY Giants can Go Play at Calmer Tought Process But New England has Been here More in the Past few Years...If Both Teams Try and Put the Digger in the Heart Early then Balls will be Flying and Points will be Scoring...If the Game is Settled Down than Score will be Slower/Lower....:sm:

This Game is Starting to have the Feel of the Carolina/New England Super Bowl Game...The Words that are Being Said and How People are Reacting to New England's Unbeated Season and Focus on it...10 Road Wins is a Hard Football Feat to get Done...So If Both Play their Top Games...New York can Play within 10 Points of New England...ONLY ONE THING Can Stop ONE Team or the OTHER....TURNOVERS.....BOL to yo All..!!
