LMFAO at Randy Moss dancing around like he's the **** cause he got the record or tied it or whatever.

That man (nor anyone else) couldn't hold Jerry Rice's jock....and that's a fact.

Dude come on...I don't necessarily like him but he's on Rice's level, if not better

Randy Moss? On Rice's level? BETTER? Because of one big season? No way.

Rice holds like every record ever. Untouchable records. Jerry was unbelievable. Maybe I'm partial because I was a kid (and young adult) when Jerry was in his prime, and it was impressionable on me watching him just completely dominate the WR position?? But honestly, I really don't think Randy (or anyone else) is even in the same league as Rice.

Half of Moss's touchdowns are jump balls that he catches cause he's a foot taller than the DB's who cover him, or as a result that he's the only guy Brady looks for in the red zone.

He's a great receiver. I'll give him that. But Jerry Rice, he is absolutely not. He's got about a million miles to go to be better than Rice, and the numbers prove it.

BTW, I don't like Brady either, but I won't bash him if he gets Peyton's record. I think Brady is a great QB. I don't like him, but he's one of the best ever, and that I will not deny. His decision making and accuracy is second to none.

Rice had some OK QB's as well...tad overrated IMO....one of the best, sure, but if he plays his career in TB, he's just another good HOF'er...not the best ever...he's better than Moss of course though...

Close game in the 1st half....interesting to see what happens in the 2nd half....do the Giants play the starters? Cause you know BB will if or when the game is in hand...

Yes, Rice did have good QB's, and good teams, and good systems. But half the league runs the west coast offense these days...many of them with great QB's at the helm, and are any of the WR's putting up "Ricelike" numbers?

                          No

It's just not that simple, IMHO

All I know is that Moss made an aging Randall Cunningham look like a quarterback god.

Moss has never had a Bill Walsh west coast-guru offensive genius behind him, either. I don't see how you can knock him for hauling down bombs off jump-ball type situations.

He just really is a physical freak.

Half the league doesn't have Montana and Young their whole career...2 of the best ever...

Top five, on par with the other top guys, but numbers just a bit skewed for that reason, IMO....loved watching those Niner teams tho for sure!!
