Nobody Wants to Talk About NE Persuit of Perfection Tonight?

Hey guys, just wondering why there aren't any threads as of yet, since the big, nationally televised game is tonight. So 15-0 patriots - 13.5 @ NY Giants. Public is split both ways in this game.

Basically all the game notes I have found so far are.....
New England is resting some key injured offensive players, in particular the O-line.

Giants say that will get play starters til the half, then if the game is out of hand, then they will bench them second half, so don't expect the backdoor cover here.

So I'm sure no one knows what to pick today, that's why there are no discussion threads.

I would love to play the 1stq over, too bad it's 9.5-140! I think Brady throws all over the Giants for the 1sth... plain to see they want Brady to break the td record.

Obvious picks on Quarter lines seem to hit pretty often. I just hate being burned when a team is driving, but they wanna end the quarter and think about their next move cuz it's essentially a timeout.

I think Coughlin is full of **** and the Giants are going to play any of their starters for any significant amount of time. There's also no way New England is resting anyone. Belichick never rests anyone. Maybe when they are up 35-10 in the 4Q then Brady will come out, but the game will have to be completely over. Also, New England resting offensive lineman makes little sense to me either since they obviously don't want Brady to get hurt, and again, Belichick never rests his players.

Looking out a few props myself

First score of the game Patriots passing td +200
You know Brady is going to be all throw while hes in there..Pats normally a fast start team and the Giants have sucked in the 1q lately

            Giants never lead -120
Ditto above..the giants may backdoor cover the 13.5 but think the pats go up right away and never trail

I've been watching espn all week, as I always do. I heard about the resting of the O-line this morning. Don't know if it's credible, as Bill has been known to be fishy on injury reports, but theres no reason to be shady about o-line starts.

This is gonna be an interesting weekend though. I haven't been able to cap NFL all year, and all these questions about how long each team plays starters doesn't help.

I think I would have to take the G-men though. In a game that doesn't matter in reality to either team, I think it's safer to take the points.

P.S. Matt Castle sucks, and it probably the luckiest man alive to play that badly and probably have or get a Super Bowl Ring, and get paid for it.

got some banged up giants though. D Ward is out for the season, Brandon Jacobs is hurt, and I believe Ahmad Bradshaw is still nursing that deep thigh bruise.

OH GODDD LOL! I just took a look at the Giants Depth Chart, and it looks like second stringer is Jared Lorenzen. This is gonna be funny **** on national tv when everyone gets to a see a QB that is 6 4" 285 pounds. This mofo looks like a freakin linebacker!

The right side of the Patriots line, Neal and Kaczur, are both inactive for New England.

question: why does sportsbook say the public is on New England but the line has actually gone down?
“So back during college basketball season my buddy Shecky tells me he’s got this system. He says it’s an absolute lock when you have this combination: Big East team, on the road, given less than 6 points with a white point guard.” ---Artie Lange in Beer League
