gibbs said they will wear his number on their helmets and also have a patch on each jersey in honor of sean....... still no word on who the scumbag was that did this, but i have to believe his girlfriend had to see who it was,her being in the same room........hind sight they say is 20/20 but i still have to wonder why a talented rich athlete would want to live in a war zone, he could have lived anywhere he wanted... i just dont get it,yes he was from florida but was smart enough to know it was a dangerous place for him.. this is a sad world we live in.

SO WOULD I:beerbang: as for southern they win or atleast challenge for the pa state title just about every year. southern is a very very small school 1a..... they are like a machine.

Whoa now Palmetto BayFla is not in a slum war zone. It's one of the best places to live around the Miami area. Living in 900,000 home is nothing to sneeze at. I happen to know that this is not a bad area to live in. My sister and her retired Navy husband have a home two streets over from where he lived and got shot. This is a high priced middle class area. My sister had no idea he even lived over there until he got shot. He did not parade around bragging that some football player lived close. They do have crime in the area. Dont mean some scumbad's dont drive around looking to break in places. Every city has that.

Lived in So. Fla for many a year and the area Sean lived in as Q of WVA mentioned is more like upper middle class.....the issue is that it is right around the corner as in most cities where the the low life thug criminals live. Drive time maybe 10 minutes max to get from his house to crime central. Eddie's point is spot on though, Sean apparently has a history with some very baaaaaaaaaaaad people, who he probably burned in the past(100% speculation), so therefore he put himself in danger by being in a zip code that was even close to a zip code where he may have had some trouble. There is no way in hell this was a robbery(100% speculation), this was a planned hit on Taylor, hence the break in 8 days before with the knife on the bed and nothing was taken that time. To have that happen the week prior and to stay in that house is beyond my comprehension....espcially when you have the means to move immediately...like back to your house in DC. Very very sad, but it appears he could have avoided this fate(100% speculation).

This is all speculative, of course, but I would wonder if, as part of his plea agreement for his previous felony weapons/assault charges, he had to agree to not own a firearm. That might explain not having a firearm at the bedside to defend himself, particularly in someone who seemed to have no problems brandishing firearms in the past.

He wasnt allowed to carry a gun or own a gun due to the ATV incident a couple years ago.

It is normal for the players to go home if they are injured. Many players said they go home when they miss a Sunday game to injury.

I also heard since he completed his probation from the prior weapons case a few years ago, he was NOW allowed to own a firearm.

The only thing I know is this is tragic and I hope they catch the scum and put him at the 50 yard line of FedEx Field and feed him to us Redskins fans.

Dude, What is your problem? I was half joking about it and we all just want the killer to pay for what he did.

If all your worried about is people talking bad about Philly fans then you have some major problems. There are a lot more important things than Philadelphia Eagles fans right now:ohman:

Its a shame thats the only thing you can say at a time like this.

All bull**** aside...I go to school at the U and we are very hurt by this tragedy. I saw that kid play back when the Canes were actually somewhat good (unlike now.) and it's just absurd that we have lost 2 players to homicides in the past 2 years. There is no denying this is a dangerous city with dangerous people, it's sad we live in a world where we feel we need guns to be safe.

May good come from such evil. RIP Sean Taylor
