Think about it and you will figure it out! I'm agreeing with you, CF! There is a direct correlation between not voting and not caring about the future of this country!

                  Gotcha.

Nitts - Percentage wise, the voter turnout numbers for this country are an embarrassment to freedom.

I won't argue that. And the fact that the elderly are the most likely to vote is also somewhat disheartening.

Kinda sad to think over half of them voted for the man who is taking our country in the direction that it's headed in right now, and that being after they had 4 years to experience him as our president and see what he was all about before doing so.

With that being said, I'm not a huge political head.....but I can see when **** is ****ed up, and this country is ****ed up right now.

I also don't know anything about Ron Paul, or any of these other jokers that are trying to run for president....because all I hear is negative TV ads and stuff. Turns me off personally, and doesn't make me even want to think about who I'm going to possibly vote for next November.

I will say, however, that this thread has opened my mind to finding out about Ron Paul and what he's all about....so it's certainly not a waste of space to have here IMHO.

If he is someone whom I could actually be proud to say I voted for, I will vote for him. I don't care if he gets 1% of the vote and loses in a landslide.

At least then I can proudly say "I didn't vote for the cocksucker" and I can feel like I did my part in trying to prevent it when another corrupt piece of **** gets in office and continues to further the world's hatred for our country and take away as many of our so called freedoms as they can.

Stif I've said many times that the uneducated masses decide each election. Which is sort of odd considering it's the die-hards that decide who gets to run, and then the idiots put in their guy. I guess that's irony of some sort? No idea, but if people in our country cared close to as much about politics as they did their reality TV shows, sporting events, and other things we'd all be better off for it.

                          Just my thoughts.
