Rothko:
After looking back at this week, I was thinking along the lines of what you said about myself and my plays even before reading your post. Not so much that I play against whatever, but that I end up talking myself out of plays based too much on the public or aspects not relevant to the actual playing of the game. This week is a perfect example. I layed off Indy, Pitt, Oak, and a few others because of non-game related things, and I lost going with Hou against SD. I definitely think I've missed some plays due to over thinking, but it's a problem that can be corrected.
IMO though, some weeks that's a good thing, some bad. There always does seem to be one or two weeks that are similar to this that public teams have attractive lines but DO get busted. I know I've let that play in my mind recently, as far as being tentative on plays. Glad you posted those thoughts though, because I think that's definitely needed at times throughout the season. BOL!
