    Yea, i guess I am. I'm stupid....

Oh yea....I think I've heard all this before after 7 weeks a couple times...like maybe every year...but yep, I'm a dumbass idiot on crack who knows nothing about football :surrender:

Just crown NE 19-0 and give em the Lombardi trophy now. Why the hell are the rest of these stupid ass teams even playing anymore?

****....if i had a nickel for every time public Joes like you said someone was the best and unbeatable, no matter what sport, and then that team went to **** when it mattered....I sure as hell wouldn't have to worry about betting anymore. I'd be on some big ass yacht somewhere drinking my ass off surrounded by like 10 hot chicks willing to do anything I want :beerbang:

Well, at least NE is better than BUF, MIA, NYJ, CIN, CLE, SD and DAL....

Like I said, when NE convincingly beats someone worth a ****, i'll shut up

Which brings me to....the only team with a winning record they've beaten was Dallas, and their record is fake to say the least. They should have lost at BUF, and other than NE, haven't played anyone worth speaking of....except maybe NYG in week 1, who clearly weren't on top of their game then yet.

Dallas is nowhere near as good as their fake record indicates.
      .
Dallas should not be penalized opinion-wised just for playing in the NFC LOL

maybe their record would be 4-2 or even 3-3 instead of 5-1 at the beginning of todays game if they played in the AFC

but they are as close as balanced as you could get from the NFC which isnt saying much. their 2ndary needs more work and anthony henry back, but as for the Giants, I'm not sold on them either, you cant say that Dallas has a fake 5-1 when the Giants beat up on the likes of philly, jets, atlanta and san fran. washington was an impressive win, but any divisional game is tough inherently.

they lost to GB too, but no one talks about GB who only have 1 loss as a legit contender cuz they cannot absolutely run the ball.

just my two cents, not bashin on ya stif, just my arguments.

but I totally agree about buff, i was and will continue to look for them ATS, very solid team.

BTW, it's kinda ironic how the old style Patriots took down the offensive minded Lambs and Colts in all those championship games, because they played great defense.....

Now the Patriots are the one who wanna run up the scoreboard with offense, and clearly don't have the defense they once did...

        How ironic....

The Giants aren't all that great either. WASH is clearly the most balanced and best team in the NFC East IMO....

GB? They have no prayer against anyone decent from the AFC. They're a nice story....i like Brett Favre...and all that. I'd like to see him win and ride off into retirement with a super bowl win, but it's not happening.

The entire NFC sucks to be honest. WASH is the only team in the entire conference with a prayer of beating a decent AFC team in an important game if you ask me....because of their defense.

Honestly, I don't even count wins over NFC teams when comparing AFC ones

Oh well. I don't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers....my team is 2-4. Just trying to be honest. That's what it's all about when you're trying to make money betting, ain't it? Hope is for fans....and we should all hope our teams win it all, but like I said, I'm just trying to tell it how i see it.

Dont get mad at me Stif. I have bet against NE all year but to say they arent the best team in football at this point in the season is just stupid. They have scored 40 points every single game.

And who has Pittsburgh beat this season if you consider them the best? Cleveland? Buffalo? San Fran? Seattle?

They are the same garbage teams NE has beat.

what's sad is. I give credit to Wade Phillips for Dallas's fast start, but IMHO, if they had just dug out Parcells for last weeks' game and let him coach for only one game, the Boys would at the very least would not have been blown out, and prolly coulda win.

my arguments are, Parcell's conservative/military mentality would not allow the boys to commit that many costly penalties and they would hve run the ball more, which was clearly successful against the pats, but they didnt stick to that gameplan.

its useless to think back, ifs shouldas wouldas, but just a thought!

I am a Redskins fan and until we open up the offense more, we have no shot in hell to compete with AFC teams. The Pats are probably going to kick our ass next week. Our defense is awesome but the offense will keep going 3 and out due to stupid playcalling and our defense will tire out in the 2nd half.

When the Redskins start throwing it more, we can hang with teams like NE and Pitt. Until then, not a chance...

lol, stif...you're the best, but those posts sound like a bit of sour grapes, man. "Woohoo they beat up an 0-7 team"? Well....yes, but they did what they had to do again...and covered...simple as that. Come on...you gotta give them credit, even when they hammer these bad teams...cause they cover. You will only give them credit if they hammer Indy & Pitt?? Thats not really fair because they won't have to hammer those teams to cover, bro!

BUT.....on a non-wagering note, and an NFL fan note....I do agree with you that there is no way they should be crowned 19-0 champs, or even the best team until they play better competition like you say (I cant wait until the NE/IND!), I suspect they are, but you are absolutely right when you say they really haven't proven that yet.....and the media love-in for all things Patriots is sickening...I hate it...but they have been covering, and that has to be the most important thing right?

On that note, I will probably be jumping off the NE bus right away! lol :beer2:

if only NE could have the Rams next week....then SF, then DET, etc....those ****ers could go undefeated and win by 20+ every game.

Q - I'm not mad by any means bro

NE has been the best team SO FAR, i didn't say they weren't.....which conversely means jack **** in Dec/Jan. I said, let them prove it when it counts....and when I'm talking best team overall, i'm talking best team come playoff time.

I remember these same arguments about INDY every year when they were beating the bejesus out of everyone in Sept/Oct/Nov en route to 11-0 starts and ****. Where did that get em? A seat right in front of the ol' Zenith watching the super bowl right along with the rest of us.

Or maybe it's a Vizio? LOL

In any case, while the NE passing game is beyond impressive, I don't see much to cheer about in their running game and/or defense....and what wins championships?

And there is no denying that NE's schedule has been the most favorable one in the league this far. Not only are they playing junk teams, they were fortunate enough to catch the one team they did play with a decent team (Dallas), in a horrible spot, coming off an extremely emotional MNF win on the road. Go look up how often the the MNF road winner wins (or covers....depending on the quality of opposition) the next week historically.....

And, how impressive does that win over DAL look if they lose at home to the pathetic Viqueens today?

And that thrashing of CIN on MNF? The Noodle Arms put up 20 points on that team today in the 1st half!!!

Honestly, I have seen a much better balance out of PIT than anyone else in the league....and that's why I like them come playoff time.

With that being said, I'm probably going to be on DEN tonight, LMFAO.

It's a matter of situation and playing style. DEN off the bye....PIT not being the type of team to blow decent teams out on the road....etc. IMO that one's going to be close, and getting +4 (or +4.5 points) is HUGE there. DEN will be ready to go if you ask me....and call me stupid for going against my own rule, but the points just might matter in that one.

But then again, just pick the better team in every game and you'll certainly be 16-0 ATS every week, right?

                      ARGH :bang:

LOL....it's tough sometimes being the guy who doesn't just sit here and sing the praises of the public darlings....but it IS profitable....which is why I think the way I do.

Here are my 2 Cents...Which are Not even Worth That..New England knew during 1st Q that they were the Better Team...0-6 vs 6-0...I Hate to see this Type of Football...Not Like the Game I Saw Growing Up as a Fan/Player....My God 42 1st Half Points...After the 1st Q they Knew they Could Control Miami on the Field..But No Still Call Long Passing Plays and Score 28 Points in 2nd Q..I am Not a New England Fan or Hater...I Just like Teams that Play for the Love of the Game...I think at Halftime New England knew they were Better then Miami..So be Decent in 2nd Half..Run Ball or Call Short Passes Not Plays Designed to Run 40 Yard Plus Pass Plays..You Can Play to Win and You can Play to Show Your Ass...Like when a Player Makes a Tackle Gets Up and Does a Dance...MY God that is your Job..To Me there is Just Way to Much..ME..ME...Instead of We...IMO.....Just not the Same Type of Game to Me...Sorry...RJP...This is your Post Sorry for Typing my Crap on Your Post..Just would Love to Get Back to Guys Playing for the Love of the Game...BOL to Ya..!!

I love what New England did today. 42 first half points is something I can only dream of as a Redskins fan. They should keep trying to score 42 points in a half because it takes teams out of games.

Why settle for 21 points when anything can happen and lose?

I hope we play them tough next week but that is about the only thing I can hope for. We cant beat them.
