Favre completed 50% of his passes for 188 yards and 2 interceptions.... our defense played great and the gameplan was amazing.... the fault lays entirely with the offensive playcalling and skill players laying an egg... our Defense was amazing... when you hold the packers to 10 offensive points you should beat them every time.
dont forget green bay dropped a few on brett also,, and i still say he had to much time in the pocket...........our o line now is completely crippled, lucky if they win 3 or 4 more games at best............ to me brilliant doesnt go well with gibbs or williams for that matter,, gibbs should hang it up after this year,,,,,,,,,,,,, this is for gibbs:puke: to much race car fumes imho

very true, but favre is 62 years old so that is expected

but lets be honest... moss accounted for 1 gb td, and had two drops that would have continued good drives instead of having to punt.... should have been 21-7 washington at halftime and basically game over....

plus, dont discount sean taylor... best safety in the game today, the guy covers so much room... 2 picks and 3 drops for picks

        i agree 50%

i think greg williams is a great def coord and has called two great games in a row.... his squad let us down in 2nd half of giants game... other than that, we have dominated on defense

gibbs i agree with you 100%.... he is handcufffing al saunders.... why the fuk do you pay saunder 2 mil a year and limit his playcalling.... its OBVIOUS campbell can be trusted with a more elaborate offensive scheme... campbell is really the only bright spot (maybe along with cooley) on this offense.... thank god we will have him for 10 years or so.... anyhow, let saunders do his thing...

Another thing that pisses me the fuk off... the playcalling on 3rd/4th and short.... we run sweeps and counters or passes to the flat... WTF???? we have 1-2 feet to go for 1st down (or TD in case of Giants game) and we run slow developing plays... why the fuk do you run 15 yards to gain 1 yard? Doesnt make sense... line up and fire up the middle

If you think about it, the score should have been 49-3 Washington, because that times that GB scored had nothing to do with GB's execution and everything to do with Washington just collectively messing up. And every drive that Washington didn't score on had nothing to do with the GB defense, it's just the Washington players all got tackled too easily and dropped 5 touchdowns.

              don't be a prick

              did you watch the game?

moss had 3 drops where he was wide open... all for 1st downs, 1 which would have been a gamechanger.....

GB executed well on 1 drive... and they scored a TD.... what other time did they execute well? name 1 other time.... oh i forgot, you didnt watch the game

funny when guys watch the games on yahoo game tracker and think they know what the hell was going on.... you know, when a guy is open with no defender within 5-6 yards, and he drops it, and it is somehow awesome execution on the defense's part.... love those fantasy fans

and furthermore the refs didnt help matters either............clear face mask they missed on a portis turd down run that would have gave them a first..........the fact is they have no o line left,no running back they can count on.............so whats left??? the only one i feel really bad for is the qb,guy ran for his life most of that second half and still played decent............portis is the most over rated running back in the league hands down,,,,,,,, he runs like he is afraid to get hurt, which he is most of the time............. denver got the better of that trade thats for ******* sure.........this is for portis:puke: cant get out of his own way

Even funnier when there are 25 straight posts bitching about a team losing, citing every excuse in the book. Hell, when the Steelers lost at Arizona there were 3 plays I could pinpoint as to why they lost, but everything that happens is part of the game and multiple forces come in to play to cause any team to lose.

This Oakland team just hangs around week after week.

Doesn't hurt when Phillip Rivers is on the other side, either.

i am starting to agree with you on portis... slightly overrated.... decent running backs are a dime a dozen

i also think santana moss is very overrated..... had butterfingers all year.... must have double digit drops in 5 games this year, and he sat out one of those games!

of course.... but you have to admit when you hold a team as potent on offense as Green bay to 10 offensive points, you should win the game... no?

plus, there is a BIG difference between an excuse and a reason.... an excuse is trying to pin the blame somewhere else than where it belongs.... It's not like i am blaming the refs or some other **** for the skins loss... read my posts and see who i blamed! MOSS, who is overrated and dropped 3 passes when he was WIDE open... portis for the fumble.... and the Skins coaching staff.... i placed all the blame on the team that LOST... thats a REASON for losing, not an excuse... big difference dude..... but if you feel like being argumentative, then go ahead....

How bout that missed facemask call on Portis that would have given us a first down?

Or that horrible interference call on Thrash. Just two plays that were joke calls by the refs that were probably intimidated by the Packer fans.
