Starting this off as early as possible- we're gonna dig up some winners:beerbang:
I can't remember the last time there were so many homedogs in one week. I'm gonna go ahead & list them in the order I like them- I haven't looked into anything yet, so these are subject to change....
Niners+2 vs Seahawks
Vikings+1.5 vs Packers
Cardinals+5.5 vs Steelers
Bills+3.5 vs Jets
Bengals+7.5 vs Patriots
Giants+2.5 vs. Eagles
Browns +4 vs Ravens
Lions+2.5 vs Bears
Falcons+3 vs Texans
9 homedogs to choose from.... which ones cash? I'm looking at possible public perception & situational aspects first. Right off the bat I think the Bengals line is too high, probably off the perception that they can't play D (true), & the Patriots are unbeatable (false). Bengals are off a tough loss @ Seattle, a game they really should have won. The Pats are off a blowout win vs Buffalo, & have yet to play even a close game. When's the last time the Bengals were home dogs of more than 4? probably 6 years ago....
I'm wondering if the Seahawks will once again be very public road faves. Perception will be they are better than the Niners, so they should win. Seems as if everyone forgets about the Seahawks horrific road play come game time, not me. Niners got smoked, Seahawks came from behind in dramatic fashion.... classic letdown situation here. SF plays them tough at home.
The Vikings blow the lead in KC & now have to face the undefeated Packers? GB off perhaps their biggest upset win in a couple years they should kill the Vikings! Hold the phone... This is a game the Vikes will be up for, IMO another letdown situation.
The Bills are so banged up, it'll be tough to play on them... however I do think they could be live Sunday.
The Giants off a come from behind victory in Washington, while the Eagles finally looked like the Eagles. Problem is, it was against the Lions D- I think this game should be a pk, & I would expect the public to be all over the Eagles. Not too sure about backing the Giants, their secondary blows, but so does the Eagles right now. Anyone know the status of Lito?
These are just quick overviews, gotta run but I'll be back later tonight to discuss things further.......
