    Office Joe's Week 2 picks

New to the new forum, not to the old one...jumped ship when they fired Bo out. Bastards.

    WEEK 2:

    Plays -

Titans +7 - Although betting against Indy after a 10 day rest is a little frightening, the Colts are a different team away from the dome. Tennessee plays them tough usually, is a physical team with a clicking ground game, and has superhero in the wings V Young to at least get a backdoor cover in the final minutes and maybe more. Expect to see a small Colts lead going into the 4th dwindle to a cover or win. I also stole a Peyton Manning voodoo doll from Bill Belicheck's warchest of cheating tools, and plan on stabbing it repeatedly during the game on Sunday.

Carolina -6.5 - Is Houston for real or was KC that bad. Like Carolina to take the division, and spotting the Texans a little less than a touch at home doesn't seem like too much. The Panthers have the players to hold up Mr. Johnson, and KC doesn't have anyone to slow down Mr. Smith. Carolina is always up and down, and often underachieve at home, but i'm not buying into the Shwaub/A Green/Mario Williams led revival just yet. They are still an atrocity of a team, and have always showed much more at home that away.

Rams -3 - Run Steven Run. SF coming off a Monday Night game, and a late one at that. A good corner won't stop Mr. Holt.

Vikings +3 - MN Defense stops the run, Peterson runs the ball. Detroit D doesn't stop anybody. A few stops and a bunch of long drives wins this one outright for MN in D-town. Calvin Johnson's nickname is Megatron!

Bears -11 (bought 1) - Angry urban animals pummel midwest victims, film at 11.

Superchargers +3.5 - Randy Moss is great again, that said, i'm taking points with the Superchargers who run pretty well on NE historically, have revenge on their minds, and the best front 7 in football. Brady won't be able to knit a sweater between the snap and tossing 60 yard bombs to Moss v Merrimen and Co. SD wins outright.

Philly -6.5 - They come to play on Monday night, go up early, and roll, not letting the ground game to get going to protect Campbell v. the Jim Johnson Blitzkreig.

Over 41 Cincy/Cleveland - Cleveland scores a few, keeps it a game the whole time.

    Leans:

Jets +10 - Conservative game by both sides should keep the Jets in it to win it late. Boller v Clemens.

Giants pk - J-Load is better than he looks. Giant D with something to prove.

Cleveland +7 - Something fishy going on here. Does Quinn play hero?

Bills +10 - Inspiration and Lee Evans.
