What variables do you use to handicap an NBA game?

I would love to hear all of your thoughts on what you think is important to look at to help determine what you factor into making a pick vs. the point spread.

I use the following factors:
1) home vs away
2) opening line
3) closing line
4) change in open/close
5) percent of bets on dog
6) perecent of bets on fav
7) dog's record
8) fav's record
9) difference between home and dog's record
10) change in line in relation to percent of bets on dog/fav
11) record of the fav/dog in relation to the line and the percent of bets on the fav/dog
