Bulls in a bad spot situationally, and just allowed 100 pts to the Wolves. Doubt they will be very interested tonight. Wizards coming of a win after losing 8 straight. Bad teams after a long losing streak tend to compete the next game. I thought that could be the case so I looked back at some instances
09-10 Pistons- lost 13 straight before beating Wash. Followed up with an ot win vs the Hornets. Later in the season they lost 11 in a row before a road win @Philly...they followed up with a win vs the Hawks
09-10 Wolves 15 in a row before a road win @Denver, followed by a 2 pt loss vs Memphis
10-11 Cavs 10 in a row before beating the Knicks, followed by an 11 pt loss vs the Jazz. Later in the season they lost 100 straight games before winning, then lost by 15.
09-10 Nets- this is a pretty good sample size lol. 18 straight losses before a home win vs the Cats. They followed with a 9 pt loss @ NYK. Nezt was a 10 game losing streak which was broken by beating the Knicks. They lost vs Clev the next game by 8 pts. A win vs the Clips broke an 11 game losing streak, an was followed by a 2 pt loss vs Washington. Finally an 8 game losing streak was broken with the following game being a 3 pt loss.
Nice call on the Mavs! I am a Celtic fan, and thought the line was way too high...thought the Mavs had a great shot at winning, let alone covering. I don't bet too many C's games -- but came close to playing the Mavs +5 tonight
