Det/NY series bet and game by game updates

I've got two series bets in my articles (Mil/Ind & LAC/Den) and I'm adding one here in the forum.
I was late getting this one in and the prices moved against me but I think we're going to get a few games out of this Det/NY series.
Buying it now before it goes any higher.
    Det/NY Ov 5' games -130

My allotted time for handicapping is going to the UFL this morning because there's a game tonight, but I'll be back with some reasons and numbers for my Det/NY series bet.

Got the split in New York, as hoped for.

When betting a series to go Over 5' games you're obviously hoping for a split in the opening two games.

The split in this series sets me up nicely for the two things I'm looking for:

    1) To go Over 5' I need two wins from each team. With Detroit getting the win in the second game for the split, I only need them to win one of their three possible home games.
I like my chances there with home court advantage

    And . . .

    2) I only need the NY Knicks to win one more game.
I like my chances there because they're the favorite to win the series.
And not just small Favs, they opened at -425.

I'm right where I was hoping I'd be.
One team only needing one win with two if not three home games to play, and needing only one win from a team that was a better than 4-1 favorite going into the series.

Detroit's youth and inexperience showed as they blew an 8 point 4th quarter lead in game one, and almost did it again in game two.
But home court advantage will help resolve that issue.

And the Knicks, the better team, the more experienced team, will definitely win at least one more to get me to two W's on their side.

I like my position on this bet.
