This series could easily be 3-1, had a fluky/SUPER unlikely Austin Rivers barrage of 3's not have happened.
Denver just isn't playing that well right now. They're not shooting the 3 well, they're not outrebounding Portland and they're not winning the turnover battle. The team is missing a couple regulars and is relying on journeyman/young players in the backcourt in Rivers, Howard and Morris. This isn't a recipe for success.
Portland continues to be one of the hottest teams in the NBA behind the nails of Damian Lillard and the mega underrated acquisition of Norman Powell.
