Hey man
like the suns -4 as well, bought a point just to be safe. its funny i took a three week break from gambling after going on a nice run and everyone is juiced up on chicago!! i looked at them as an average team, somewhat shaky, and not very effecient on the road. have things changed?
hey Skins what's the best way to see which side the public is on? I look at trends on sportsbook.com just curious what other ones are out there.
“So back during college basketball season my buddy Shecky tells me he’s got this system. He says it’s an absolute lock when you have this combination: Big East team, on the road, given less than 6 points with a white point guard.” ---Artie Lange in Beer League
i would not use wagerline.... those numbers are based on people playing in contests... not people playing real $$$$
I use sportsbook.com, sportsinsights.com, and most importantly I look through 5 different handicapping websites (like this one) to get a feel..... What I REALLY look for is odd lines (Like phoenix -4) that people are jumping all over.... Most of the time, I would take GS +4 tonight.... but I have a feeling that after yesterday, the public gets a little back on a short card night.... just a gut feeling, nothing more.
...I'm thinking the pub gets a little back on a small card night.... Really liking Chicago and Golden State... so, going to fade myself and try:
Pissed-ons +4
Suns -4
GL
Ya know, I randomly happened to look at the trends on Sportsbook and noticed the public went 3-8 ATS w/the majority-sided team. GL w/the Suns but not so much luck w/that play against my Bullies!
Also, SHOWMEDAMONEY, I noticed you mentioned that you thought the Bulls were an average team who were shaky and inefficient on the road. Not sure if you are basing your thoughts on the game tonight on this, but the game in Chicago, where the Bulls are very solid (26-9 United Center) this year I believe. Just wanted to point that out in case you thought it was in Detroit, otherwise that comment would be meaningless for tonight's game.
Did not realize they were that good at home, see what three weeks off from gambling does to a man!?! God, I'm gonna have to tell the wife about this when she's home
