Arenas played an excellent game tonight. What I don't understand is why I didn't even think of Gil's player prop tonight. The guy averages over 28 points a game and he laid an egg last night in Portland. The main reason is because our fans booed him every time he touched the ball. Based on statistics alone, you had to figure Arenas would come to Seattle tonight and at least drop his season-average. I have no clue why I didn't even consider making a play on his player prop this evening. It couldn't have been more than 31 points tops. Sonics definitely had the momentum in the end and would have won in OT but Gil sealed the deal at the buzzer in regulation.
“So back during college basketball season my buddy Shecky tells me he’s got this system. He says it’s an absolute lock when you have this combination: Big East team, on the road, given less than 6 points with a white point guard.” ---Artie Lange in Beer League
