I don't post often but here it goes.
Takes the Hornets -11 tonight against the Heat.
The Bees are coming off one of their worst performances of the year against the Lakers at home 2 nights ago. I was there and will be again tonight. They made 1 3pter for a whopping 9% after making 11 and 12 in their previous 2 games. SG Morris Peterson was held scoreless and Peja had under 10 points.
They face a Heat team tonight on the back end of a 5 game road trip and their 5th game in 7 nights with losses at Milwaukee, Minnesota, and Memphis- not exactly murderers row. They will also be without Shaq. I expect Chandler, one of the leagues most underrated centers, to dominate the glass- especially after getting embarassed by Andrew Bynum on Wednesday. Hornets are one of the top teams in the league this year and not many people are taking notice. This is one of the Hornets only nationally telivised games of the season, so you can bet they're going to want to make a statement tonight, especially after the egg they laid a few nights ago. Chris Paul will take this game personally as well because he's get this....7th in the All Star voting right now. The guy is playing like an MVP and people still claim Deron Williams is on his level.
Moreover, the Hornets have not been playing well at home (9-7) and with the addition of signing a new lease there should be extra motivation tonight in front of a packed house in one of the few sellouts on the season.
Dwayne Wade should play tonight but he's gimped up.
I'm looking for a 102-84 type game.
