tired legs! 30 freakin points in the last 2 minutes to screw the game under.
But the rest of the 2H was missed shot after missed shot, especially from long range. That is nearly always as a result of players being tired. Both teams were in what I'd call an under situation last night, Heat on b2b and 6th of 6 roadies on the west coast, and the Suns returning home for their first game after an east coast roadie.
In watching that game, it NEVER should have gone over the 216. As a matter of fact, it should have never hit 200. The Heat shot 74 or 75% in the first half, and then as you mentioned, all those late 3's that went in.
Still, even with that late burst in the last 2 minutes, they never threatened the 2H u108, and with a missed 3 pointer or two in there, it stays under the 216 too cause it becomes a Miami blowout, and the fouls don't occur, and both sides see fewer possessions with the Heat milking the clock in the last 2 mins.
I bet the over last night on the Miami/Suns game. I thought that game would have been a fluke if it was under 216. Looking at the suns and heat first half, the heat scored uncharacteristically high in the first half while Suns scored approximately what I thought they would. If anything, I think the third quarter was just a complete fluke. I've never seen such bad shooting by the suns in a long time. Both teams literally could not score a basket. I don't think a quarter like that could be expected after watching Wade's play the 3 games prior to that. He's finally starting to get back into his rhythm. Luckily though both teams made up for the lack of scoring in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter. I think overall that looking a Wade's play and the Sun's team as a whole, I would play the over again.
