Ok last year Blazers 0-2 SU and ATS against the Heat last season but I’m taking the Blazers ML on this one. I don’t get a chance to go to many games but I have a good seat to this game and there is some venom involved in this one. First of all, Pat Riley called the Blazers “basically, the worst team in the league” earlier this season. Us Blazer fans don’t forget statements like that.
Second, the betting public is favoring Miami in this game. The line has moved from 1 to 3 which gives me even more reason to play the ML. Miami is 1-2 ATS last 3 games and has lost 3 SU. That and they have a 2-7 record on the road. My Blazers are 5-3 at home with wins against the likes of Dallas and Detroit. Also we are 2-1 ATS last 3 games.
Looking back at the two times we played the Heat last season, we did lose in Miami due to a complete collapse in the fourth quarter. Dwyane Wade copletely took over, which I don’t see happening tonight due to the facts that Wade is not 100 % healthy and this game will be played in Portland. When we played the Heat in Portland, the refs basically handed the game to Wade and the Heat with a phantom call on Brandon Roy as Wade drove to the hoop while at the other end Roy was assaulted wich of course resulted in a no-call. Not to mention Jason Kapono (who isn’t on the team anymore) had a huge night for the Heat.
Taking the Blazers to win the game straight-up!
