Since we're on the topic of stories...

I was playing BJ at some dump casino and there was a REAL drunk dude at my table. I had a hand and this dumbass had a 20 and doubled down.

I could of waxed the guy.

Low and behold the dealer pulls and ace out for him.

      Unbelievable eh.

of course...but its probably better to say, just dont do it, and even if the odds are in your favor...dont get greedy!

on this subject also, something that is often OVERLOOKED...as soon as the dealer pays you out, immediately put your hands on your chips, its sorta dirty (but its the rules), that way they can't take it back if the dealer miscounts...

this has happened to me twice..that the dealer miscounted (that I was aware of at least)...the first time it was 10 bucks, and I was feeling righteous, so I spoke up and said, "hey you miscounted, I didn't win"...noble but stupid, no good karma came around to reward me LOL

          second time, I had split 7s vs a her face card, drew a 7, resplit (three 7s on the table now)...then drew a 4, and a 9 on the first 7, then drew an 8 and a 5 on the 2nd 7, then on the last 7 drew a 5 and a 6. so my cards were 20, 20, and 18 vs. her face card facing up...she flipped over a 4, then drew a 6....to make 20.

i had 75 bucks on the table (just bet only 25 each)...she proceeded to pay me out, even though we pushed first two, and beat me on last....

the other guys on the table were shooting me daggers, but none dared to speak up...I was so shocked i didnt even touch my chips, my friend had to elbow me in the back to do so...

I dunno if it was an honest mistake or she did it on purpose, (she did have some huge mugambos and was really easy on the eyes), but when it was all said and done, I gave her a 10 dollar tip and didnt look back!

          LMAO :beerbang:

there should be a rule for that, in his case the ace should count for 11 LOL

well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Larry. and everyone else. I've only run across this situation 2x, and I lost both times against a 5 dealer up and a 6 dealer up, so pardon me if I'm not a bit prejudice against those damn twin sixes LMAO.

                        blackjack sux

black jack sux, the probability of winning is highly improbable, casino/house always has the higher edge, i notice this as a kid just mucking around with cards at home at a young age, and they even explain it mathetmically and scientifically if you watch that tv show 'NUM3RS' ...you know that FBI tv show where they use maths to solve crimes??

so yeah black jack sux, all that hassle and you get EVENS back?? not worth it, people only play it cause of high bankroll and like watching the money go too and frow, only good for rich people and senior citizens who can't get it up ROFL.

only good thing about it is if you can count cards like in the movies you can make some serious cash, although i'm not in the U.S and where i'm from they shuffle it pretty quick, which i can understand to stop 'card counting' but god, this also mixes the crap cards back in the deck, which increases the houses advantage, ......this must be illegal, so lame.

:ohman: BJ, is a 50/50 game, YOU vs DEALER!
Now where that can get messed up is when, you got a bunch of rookies on the table takin' hits when the dealer is showin' a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. That can catch up to you, if you are holdin' 12-16 and stand, then some rookie takes a card, that would have busted the dealer. The main thing in BJ, is chase it! When you get to the table, bet 1 ($10,$20$50$100 etc...) If you win, bet 1 again! If you lose, bet 2x your first bet! If you lose again, bet 4x your first bet! Eventually you will get back to winnin' 1. Then start all over.
If you see stupid****inpeople at the table taking hits when they shouldn't, then get up and move to another table!
Why the casinos have the advantage on BJ: #1 they have a 50/50 chance 1 on 1, but when they go 1 on 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 etc, they increase their chances of making money, and paying the winners on the table with the losers money. Also, when the table is packed, you will always get those individuals that take stupid hits, to prevent the dealer from going bust, and most will keep bettin' 1 to 1!
I have also seen players, bet a larger amount, after they win? :boog:
Remember it is 50/50 odds: you vs dealer, if you lose the hand, chase it, to make 1, then start all over!
I have also been at a table, where the dealer was hot as a mofo(winning 4+ hands in a row)! Move on to another table, if you see that happen!
                          :gulp:

ALWAYS sit at the the 1st chair on the left. You get the last shot at the deck, before the dealer. :beer2:
