Stayed up late last night to watch the Jays pull out a late win...saving me an O'fer.
Red Sox +106 (DiceK) vs Yankees - 2 Units
Boston coming into NY with a ton of confidence after pasting Chicago in a 4 game sweep, and might be ready to put the Yanks away right now. Sox had the day off yesterday, while the Yanks got embarassed in Detroit yesterday....they lost that 4 game series, as well as the 3-gamer to LA before that. Sox hit lefties well, and Pettite has an ERA over 5 in 4 starts against Boston this year. DiceK is awesome on the road, and except for one hiccup against TB, has been great the past 6 weeks. I'll take the better overall team, the hotter team, the rested team as a dog here.
Mariners -113 (Weaver) vs Angels (Santana) - 3 Units
I'll take Seattle to bounce back from last night's home loss against the tough Lackey. Seattle is a great home team (LA below 500 on road), and they will find it easier against the ****ty Santana tonight. Weaver continues to impress, and I was surprised I could get this at a near pick'em.
Diamondbacks -146 (Webb) vs Padres - 3 Units
Pretty hard not to back Webb under -150. Especially against the SD bats, in that pitchers park. Webb also gets a extra day rest coming into this one, and that could be huge with the amount of innings he's pitched lately. Seems like this series sets up like Peavy getting the dominant win in gm 1, and then Zona's ace gets the win in gm 2. The only difference is Peavy was -230, and we get Webb with some value tonight.
