Nice 2-1 yesterday +4.52, even with the Screwers blowing the lead late. Really felt good to hit the Twins/Dodgers, 2 pretty high risk games with high rewards. I can't believe how high that LAD got before gametime! Golf outing turned into a drink fest, & I'm paying for it now :blackeye:
D-rays/Pale Hose o9.5-110
I think given the recent surge of TB paired with the recent losing streak for the White Sox will result in quite a bit of TB money. Jackson has been about as solid as they come in August, with a 1.67 era in his 4 starts. However, he still has a 1.72 WHIP & has only recorded 2 wins in 12 road starts. I just don't think a 20-41 team should be favored on the road, no matter how small. Jackson still has a 4.84 road era, & I think the Wsox should be able to get some runs off him today. TB is coming in on an over streak, with 5 of the last 6 games totalling 11 or more. Contreras has a 1.58 WHIP & a 6.19 home era. Opponents are batting .311 vs him at home, lefties .348. In 6 of his last 7 starts, the total has reached 10 of more runs. The White Sox have had 5 consecutive totals of 11 or more, & 7 of last 9. The Sox pen is also worn down, thanks to the Red Sox series... I'm hoping both guys get roughed up early....
Still looking over the later games, leaning towards fading the Mets & Lawrence.... looks like Utley will be back in the lineup. GLTA
