Odalis Perez will be the Royals starter on Thursday against the Mariners, a 2:05 p.m. CT start at Surprise Stadium. Todd Wellemeyer, Octavio Dotel and David Riske are also scheduled to pitch for the Royals. Jarrod Washburn is Seattle's probable starter.
JB's Note - Perez lost a ton of weight in the offseason and looks like the brother of the Odalis Perez we got from LA last year. Wellemeyer is fighting for a starting spot. Dotel and Riske are the best arms the Royals have in the back of the pen. Think I will throw a unit the Royals way today.
