    MLB Friday 8/24

    ytd 451-452 (+50.21 units)

    White Sux RL +1.5 (gm 1) -105

    2 units

Beckett and Garland must both start. I only say that cause sometimes books screw things up with double headers and don't list the correct pitchers, so I wanted to clarify which pitchers I was basing my wager on.

Well, many of the lines were indeed bad.....unfortunately so were many of the bullpens.

Hope good old Dutch Goose took a healthy **** down the neck of Danys Baez, Brad Lidge and Chad Cordero tonight, and whoever else I missed.

Lidge sucks, but at least I can understand why Houston keeps using him. At least he has good stuff and some potential. Baez and Cordero on the other hand, I don't get. No control, no confidence, and nothing but straight pitches. When they do actually get one over the plate (after a couple walks of course), they get drilled about 450 feet.

Baseball needs more expansion teams so the relief pitching can suck even more. It's sad to think there are actually teams that rely on these ass cracks to be on their roster, let alone pitch in a close game.
