Royals- By now it's no secret that Bannister is a stud- 1.14 WHIP & a 3.38 road era. Opponents are only hitting .200 vs him on the road, & is coming off a 4 hit complete game @ Oak. I'm surprised to see Contreras a small fave here. He has a 1.60 WHIP & a 6.21 home era. Opponents are hitting .316 vs him at home, & the Sox are 1-9 in his last 10 starts. His last 4 home starts he's gone 16 ip & allowed 15 er! In Bannister's last 3 road starts he's allowed 6 er in 23 ip. To top it all off, the W Sox are a AL worst 19-31 in day games. I will also add Royals alt rl when it's up @ 5 Dimes....
Sea/Min under- I like Batista to pitch well against the Twins offense, which I've been fading all week. Instead of playing the M's I'm opting for the under. Batista has a 1.50 WHIP & a 4.33 road era. In his last 4 games, he's pitched 25 innings & allowed just 4 er. Silva has a 1.28 WHIP & a 3.44 home era. In his last 4 games, he's gone 29 ip & allowed 5 er. All 4 of the totals were 8 or less, enough for me to make the play.
Pit/Col under- Yes I know Pitt has been tearing it up offensively, & the Rockies home games go over, but the Pirate's offense fell back to earth yesterday. Considering who's on the mound today we have a pretty high total. Gorzo has been a road warrior (7-3 in 13 starts) with a 3.5 road era & an overall 1.26 WHIP. In his last 5 road starts, he's allowed 15 er in 30.1 ip, but it's high only because of 1 rough outing vs the mets (2.1 ip 6 er). Only 1 of the 5 games went over 9 runs.... Fogg has a 1.43 WHIP & in his last 4 home games has allowed 9er in 26 ip. The last time he faced Pitt, he allowed 2 er in 7 ip. Lean to the dog here, but I like the under a bit more.
Zona/Mil under- Webb.
Balty/Texas over- Rheinecker has a 1.71 WHIP & a 7.16 era in August. Righties are hitting .336 vs him, which is good for a righty laden O's lineup. Olsen has a blistering 2.35 WHIP & in 18.1 ip has allowed 13 er....rightiea are hitting .356 off him. I like both teams to get over 4 runs each, so the over it is.
Looking into a small parlay... GLTA today :jiggy:
