Daddy's Back MLB Tuesday (8.21)
Well it was painful to watch my A's drop 2 of 3 against the freaking Royals, but half our team right now started the year in AAA. This season is a wash, I hope they can make some deals and solidify that infield & rotation. Oh and get a new trainer, seems to be a new injury everyday!
Being really picky now, as I've started to enter football mode, but I still feel there's some money to made, and hopefully make this season a learning experience, not a financial ruin.
Piss off rain.... looks like this one should get in.
PHILLIES 1st 5 Innings (-145) = *7.25 UNITS
Rollins hitting 7 for 13 off Tomko. Howard smacking 4 of 5. Burrell and Branyan have both knocked a couple dongs off him, overall the starting Phillies lineup is hitting over .300 against him in a few meetings. Kendrick has been solid, and only made two mistakes to the Dodgers the last time out which cost him 4 of his 5 ER. Nobody got more than 1 hit against him in that game, and he should be prime to shut down a team that until recently has been having a horrible August, and should relapse being back on the road. Phillies bats at home always start off hot, and should have no problem against Tomko. After what I saw the past two days, I don't trust that Phillie bullpen with a dime, so 1st 5 only for me.
