    BOS/LAA game ?

Anyone know who started the early game for LAA? Lackey, or Swervin Ervin Santana?

I just got home a bit ago, and see Lackey is pitching now, although on CBS Sportsline it contradicts itself, by saying Santana started, but threw 0 pitches, yet it says David Ortiz hit a 2 run homer off Santana in the 1st inning.

Wish these freakin people could get their info straight....

Ya, another site also said Santana was pitching in the day. Lackey pitched though.

I can't believe that first. He usually doesn't fall apart until the 5th. "Lackey's famous fifth"

Either way it doesn't bug me. I'm only playing the night game.

Even though I didn't have action, I wondered the same thing. MLB.com shows Lackey, and the guy running the GLOG on CBS Sportsline talked about Lackey falling apart, so it was Lackey.

          CBS is confused...that happens often.
Lackey started Game 1 and Santana is starting Game 2
If it ain't fun, don't do it!

I don't have anywhere to rant, so I'm doing it here.

It's just one of those moments where you feel you can coach better than the coach of the team, which I really can't but still...

Sciosia and his obsession with the 100 pitch count drives me up the wall. Then he puts Shields in the 8th who is known, for a damn fact, to have problems with two teams. Oakland and Boston. Yet he continues to let him pitch in critical situations to show he "believes in him" and now look, the bases are loaded with one out and Ortiz on the mound. Now, we have to put K Rod in early and make him get 5 ours, which in itself is scary enough since he almost blew it in Toronto last night. He just threw a wild pitch and another scores.

I know the Angel's system works, but damn, when certain things haven't worked for the past THREE YEARS against certain teams, switch it up.

              DAMNIT!!!!!!!

Way to blow the game, let me know, should we "turn the page".

Here is the sick thing, he will continue to do this and the same thing will happen each time.

                :puke:

Gagne has been horrible in Boston. Angels still have a shot to win this game.
                  NCAAF: 50-39-5 (+6.35 units)
                  NFL: 36-35-6 (-2.00 units)
                  NHL: 4-8-0 (-2.80 units)

It's pretty funny Gagne is this freakin' bad for Boston. Very strange.

                      :)

Haha, I'm still pissed but that made it a lot better...

7-5 and to the bottom we go.
