Astros/Dodgers over 8- Tough stepping out on a big play when I'm on a losing streak, but it's pretty easy to see why I like this play. Wandy's back on the road where he has a 8.16 road era & 8 of his 11 road starts have gone over the total. In his last 5 road starts, he's gone 23.2 ip & allowed 28 er! Lowe has a 4.02 home era, & in his last 5 home starts has allowed 17 er in 21.1 ip. The Dodgers are hitting .286 vs lefties, here's the numbers vs lefties....

    Loney .408

    Furcal .353

    Martin .347

    Ethier .342

    Kent .333

IMO it'll be pretty tough for Wandy to get past the 5th inning....hoping for a 4-4 tie by then....

The Cards are a continuing fade of the Brewers, as the Braves are a fade of the Giants. Playing Haren to get his first win in August.

LOL, SF and MIL are definitely 2 of the worst teams in baseball. Good plan. I mean really, I'd be hard pressed to think of any that are obviously worse right now. Maybe TB? Maybe HOU? Maybe PIT? Maybe CIN? They may not be the 2 absolute worst, but they're both IMO easily in the bottom 5....

I wanna jump on LA or the over (or both) tonight too. I can't believe the public is backing WANDY on the road at 60%? And they're about split on the O/U too. WTF? LOL

I agree completely Stif... Honestly I think the Dodgers win, but I can't lay chalk with Lowe, as the Dodgers are 3-7 in his last 10, including losing 5 straight. Not to mention the Dodgers have only won 4 of their last 17 games... -146 is too much for me LoL if I did play them, it would have to be on the rl, & of the 4 wins 2 of them came by just 1 run. No thanks, I'll just root for a ton of runs & a typical Wandy road outing :beerbang:
