        What the hell...

        KC -113

        2 units

Was going to stay away from this, as I don't really like the idea of playing KC as a road fave, and at first glace I saw Meche has bad numbers vs TEX. He has not faced them this year, however, and win or lose, I just can't see how I can let the chance to fade Padilla at only -113 slip away. We'll see what happens I guess.

On a side note, I'm thinking it's about time Mariano Rivera hangs up the spikes. He's getting hit HARD, time after time this year, and sure as hell not striking fear into opposing hitters anymore. IMO the Yankees should have gone after Gagne and used him as the closer. I mean ****, they go after everyone else, and while I question how much gas Gagne has left with all the injuries he's had recently, he's sure as hell got more left than Rivera, and the Yankees only think "this season" anyway, and not about the future....so who gives a crap how many years Gagne has left if he can get thru this year, right?

Or at the very least, they could have given Billy Koch one last shot. Him and Rivera are on about the same level right now anyway, LOL.

In all honesty, it's sorta sad to see a "legendary" closer get hit around like this almost every time he comes in the game....which is why I originally said he should just save as much grace as possible at this point and retire.
