Mets -129 (Hernandez) vs Pirates - 2 Units
El Duque has been solid, Snell has had his struggles...and the Mets smoked him a couple weeks ago....Pirates did well against SF, but they're not facing the Giants lineup tonight.
Devil Rays +127 (Kazmir) vs Red Sox - 3 Units
I think I've backed Kazmir's last 3 starts, and he's been nothing but great. He could be the hottest pitcher in the AL...so I have to take him as a big dog again. He shut down Boston over 6 innings a couple weeks...hopefully the bullpen hold this time, or he goes deeper tonight. Lester is a nice story and all, but beating cancer doesn't make you a better pitcher. He's struggled this year, and I see the Drays getting some runs off him tonight, as they hit lefties well. Huge mis-match on the hill...I'll take the less popular uniform as a dog.
Braves RL -114 (Smoltz) vs Giants - 2 Units
Gotta fade the Giants....they had a ton of trouble with the brutal Bucs, this should get ugly...especially with a rookie reliever forced to make a spot start, and facing bulldog Smoltz. Rare fav RL play for me this year, but I think this is the right spot to pull the trigger...SF rarely wins on the road, and I can't see them keeping this one close.
Cardinals +120 (Wells) vs Brewers (Capuano) - 2 Units
Capuano as a favourite fade.
Rockies +105 (Francis) vs Padres - 2 Units
Francis has been great, and all he does is win....I prefer him over Maddux, and really prefer the Rocks bats over the Pads...so I'll jump on a dog line.
